We've seen Dr. Jones since the birth of my 1st child. I've never had a bad experience with them. I had a miscommunication once about an appointment but it was easily taken care of. He and Ms. Paula are awesome, great with the kids, and explain everything to you. We also love Ms. Ashley (the nurse). In your first appointment you're given a handout that states Dr. Jones takes as much time as needed with each patient. So, yes, we've had some longer wait times but I've also had a full 30 minutes of his attention. He's never rushed us out. We get in easily with emergencies and/or sudden illnesses. He also quickly answers a page if you call him after hours. As long as he's in practice I feel my kids will continue to get great care.

The office staff was horribly rude! Dr. Jones' receptionist, the one who wears glitter in her hair daily, will barely give you directions to the office. My first appointment was for my newborn daughter and I was 5 minutes late due to getting lost. When I arrived, the glitter lady said that the Dr. wouldnt see me because I was late. I had a 3 day old nfant that they refused to see! After that, I would always show up early for my appointment but I would end up having to wait over an hour to be seen each time. Their waiting area is small and filty. The receptionists and nurses spend all their time gossiping in earshot of the clients, and discuss inappropriate topics. Their appointment rooms are also disgusting. They don't follow the reccommended shot schedule so my child ended up being late on her shots! Dont waste your time with this practice!

I attended a class at JMH and Dr. Jones was extremely helpful, so I decided to switch him over to my new primary. When I called his office and asked for an appt, they accused me of being drug seeking. That was bizarre at best. Who responds to new patient inquiries that way? But, I made the appointment. A few months when the appt came, I was quite ill from waiting so long. I had pulled an all-nighter for work and on less than an hour of sleep, I drove to the appointment, but got lost. Although I left with plenty of time, I was ten minutes late. The staff was immediately rude to me and said he couldn't see me. I apologized and asked if I could reschedule. They said, "No". I said, "Ever???" They said, "Ever". Period. With uncontrolled diabetes and serious health issues, I had to start over trying to find a new primary. Who in the world does that and WHY would they do that?

My child had been seen here since birth. Recently had a severe infection in which my doctor prescribed antibiotics, Dr. Jones dismissed as a cold, without thorough examination. Office staff was extremely rude throughout the course of our patronage there. We would not recommend him, as he has seemed to lack compassion for our child.

Although the staff isn't exactly your best friend they are quite personable, and work with you on scheduling appts. They constantly stay busy with patient after patient, but the effectiveness of Dr. Jones' staff keeps everything going smoothly. Somehow Dr. Jones' can be with you for only 10-15 minutes at times, but he's very genuine and does a great job making you feel like you're appreciated while finding a solution. I'm simply an average patient of his that thinks it's necessary to take a few minutes out of my day and elaborate on the good ratings that I experience time after time. He's not the only good doctor around, but I would reccomend him anyday.

DR JONES MAY OR MAY NOT CHARGE YOU FOR CANCELLATIONS, BUT ALL DOCTORS DO THAT THESE DAYS. I JUST KNOW HE TOOK MY HUSBAND SIGHT UNSEEN, PUT HIM IN THE HOSPITAL AND FINALLY EASED THE TUMULTOUS TIME HE WAS HAVING WITH COPD. OUR FORMER DOCTOR'S PRACTICE HAD BECOME A CATTLE CALL STATION, AT LEAST 40 PATIENTS IN THE WAITING ROOM AT ALL TIMES. DR JONES SAW WHAT OUR FORMER DOCTOR SHOULD HAVE SEEN WITHIN 15 MINS OF MEETING MY HUSBAND FOR THE FIRST TIME. HIS OFFICE POLITICS MAY NOT BE LIKED, BUT HIS PLEASANT EASY MANNER AND WONDERFUL HEALTH CARE FOR MY HUSBAND HAS MADE US VERY HAPPY. MY HUSBAND WAS GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM EVERY OTHER WEEK, SINCE HE MET UP WITH DR. JONES HE HAS NOT BEEN BACK TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT ALL. SO I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH HE CHARGES, HE IS WELL WORTH EVERY CENT AND THEN SOME. HE GAVE US OUR LIVES BACK AGAIN. D.POPE THANKS DR.

Four years ago I made an appointment with Jones for myself and my child. At no time did his receptionist tell me about fees for cancellations. When I did try to cancel, his phone was constantly busy. After spending a great deal of time trying to reach him, I got a recorded message from a machine which did not accept messages. Due my limited time I let the matter drop. Jones did not. He charged me for both appointments. His staff treated me abominably when I tried to explain why I had been unable to cancel the appointment. Thinking that he had not gotten a letter I sent him explaining what had happened, I appealed to the PR person at Jefferson Memorial, where Jones practices and she spoke with him and let me know he was aware of the situation. It made no difference to him that I was in the midst a family crisis that resulted in financial difficulties. His staff ridiculed and insulted me with his knowledge. I consider this doctor's unfeeling and crass behaviour beyond the pale.
