Dr. Arar took care of my husband first. He corrected! a misdiagnosis by another neurologist (This other dr. was supposedly a "top notch" neurologist and lecturer--yet failed to note two significant issues--non-typical for the misdiagnosed malady and observation of family members that saw something was not right.) Dr. Arar diagnosed correctly with one MRI. So later when my father had symptoms we took my Dad to Dr. Arar also. Dr. Arar did a great job communication with me and my father (Dad was deaf) and things turned out as expected with my Dad recovering as predicted. So when I suspected something had been overlooked in my previous 50 years of care I asked for a referral to Dr. Arar. He discovered evidence of what I suspected and put me on the right medication in the right dosage to prevent other undesirable results to my health and well-being. I am VERY disappointed that I cannot return to him at the present time due to ridiculous allegations to his ethical and moral character. It is my opinion that he had been targeted by his primary accuser for her own goals and agenda. Again, my opinion, I think it is extortion based accusation--as If THAT has never happened. In the meanwhile this has created multiple problems for me to continue my health care first referred to a neurologist that moved to a different practice after just one visit, then bounced to another neurologist that is highly likely to retire before long. Both neurologists were fine physicians, but I shouldn't have even had to be switched. I hope this is all cleared in the near future so I can resume being a patient of Dr. Arar, a doctor that has been so helpful to myself and several other family members. Send me a postcard when the nonsense complaint is over so I can schedule my next appointment.

This doctor is my angel on earth. He diagnoised me quickly when it took ages for other doctors....and they didn't. I had Hepatitis C. He goes the extra mile! The best there is. Had no problems with the staff.

Arrogant, brusque, inattentive, rude and dangerously uninformed. When experiencing severe reactions to prescribed medications, Dr. Arar refused to entertain the possibility they were caused by his medications. He denied any causal relationship to the specified reaction in call to our primary physician. The symptoms increased in severity and he would still not consider the medication as a cause. When the pain becaming intense and we tried to see him urgently his office would not return our call. He chastised us for showing up at his office without an appointment saying we were not to ever do that. He refused to read the detailed outline from the manufacturer indicating the warning signs of a severe reaction. He would not listen to any of the symptomatic complaints or even look at the massive bruising causing pain. Actually said that if it was the medicine my wife would already be dead. Told us to find another neurologist. Could not be bothered to listen to a patient in pain.
