Kind and caring. She takes the time to listen. 2 hour initial appointment, one hour followup. I have to submit my receipts to my insurance but it is worth it. She explains medications, options, and side effects. She gives her cell phone # if I have a question between appointments. She has made a positive difference in my life.

We found Dr. Feierman to be a sensitive, but ultimately ineffective psychiatrist. We engaged her as a psychopharmacologist to treat our son's depression. She emphasized psychotherapy over medicines. We spent one year with her with no improvement. She withheld medicine. We left to another psychiatrist at UNM and within two weeks we had new meds and a much happier child.
