I visited Dr. Bhat last week to be evaluated at the request of one of my other medical caregivers. I found him to be very pleasant and thorough in his work. He gave me detailed information on my problems, the possible treatments and the possible side effects of the treatments and I was very impressed with his manner and the good advice he offered. If I ever have need of a neurologist again, I will gladly go back to him. The contact that I had with his staff was also pleasant.

Dr. Bhat is a prime example of what is wrong with healthcare in America. I went to see him three time for debilitating migraines, and each time I waited 2 and a half hours to see him. Every question I had was met with a condescending answer, and he refused to treat me for anything that was outside of his misdiagnosis. I asked him if I should be tested for sleep apnea and he told me there is no scientific proof that sleep apnea causes headaches. After I brought my wife and father to see him, they were appalled by his lack of knowledge and dispicable attitude. I then found another neurologist who immediately scheduled me for a sleep study, and not shockingly, I wad diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. Dr. Bhat is an incompetant doctor and if I had stuck with him, I could be in much worse health. I was in need of a CPAP machine; Dr. Bhat prescribed me Aleve and said that "it's just migraines." I do not recommend him in the slightest, and instead recommend Dr. Karen Springer at Fort Wayne Neuro on Jefferson. She is kind and actually cares about her patients, unlike Dr. Bhat who is clearly phoning it in until he retires with all the money he has taken from patients who trusted him.

He was very helpful, checking out more that one source for a problem. He had no problem with me asking lots of questions & was very compassionate. He was the first person who believed me when I said I had memory problems. Others just told me it was just the way life is. He ordered bloodwork & MRI's to thoroughly investigate both my nerve pain problems & my memory loss. His staff called to remind me to have my bloodwork done (knowing I had forgotten). They were very kind.

My dad has Parkisons and changed to Dr. Bhat. I have been extremely pleased with the promptness of the whole office. Remember, if your appointment is at 1;00, you will called back at 1;00 and then the nurse will get vital information. He also was the first doctor in Ft. Wayne to use a new drug for Parkinsons which has had excellent results.

Absolute jerk and completely incompetent. Was hospitalized in the area due to an accident and unfortunately wasn't able to choose my doc. Refused to get records from my local doctor, wanted to completely alter medications when prior ones worked well, and extremely rude to myself and my family. Kept calling me a psych case instead of a neurology patient so I was extremely frustrated. God help anyone who comes in contact with him.
