So good to the "quick fixes", yet so bad to anyone who takes more of her time. She's a true "retail doc" who just wants to crank out the numbers so as to get paid. At least, that's the impression I got, and judging by her other reviews, they seem to agree. There are a lot of great optometrists and ophthalmologists out there -- find one you are comfortable with!

It makes me sad to have to write such a negative review, but the experience I had with Dr. Bream about two years ago has stayed with me so long that I feel the need to share it. I went in to see Dr. Bream about some concerns I had concerning my vision and night driving. I had never worn glasses before, so this was my first visit to the optometrist. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time (I was informed by the staff that she was running behind), Dr. Bream finally took me into her office for my examination. Everything was extremely rushed. As someone who has never worn glasses and had just waited nearly an hour and a half extra just to see her, I was expecting I would receive at least 15 minutes of her time. Well, I'd be lucky to say that I even got 10. I didn't feel comfortable asking Dr. Bream questions about my vision/prescription, and it seemed she was very quick to scribble something down to get me out of the office. When the glasses finally came in, I found them to be more of an impediment to my vision than a help. I even went in to have my prescription altered a week or so later, and I felt I was just annoying her. Dr. Bream's was a waste of time, money, and honestly just a sad reminder of how doctor's office visits should NEVER be. If I could do it over again... I just wouldn't. Save yourself the hassle.

I went to see Dr. Bream because the prescription she had given me was not good. I could not pass my eye test examination at the DMV. She informed that the previous doctor had given me a bad prescription (not true, she was the one who gave the prescription) and that my problems were related to my age! I am fifty-years-old and in great shape. She also told me I had Macular degeneration. She was rude and negative. I went to see another doctor who prescribed the correct lenses and was told I did not have Macular degeneration!

I've seen Dr. Bream twice now and each time she has been very thorough and patient with me. Even when I was afraid I was taking too much of her time, she assured me it was alright - she wanted to make sure I understood how my prescriptions worked and the difference between bifocals and progressive lenses (since I had previously only worn single lens). Additionally, everyone on her staff has been friendly and easy to work with. Absolutely no complaints, really pleased with the service.

I have been seeing Dr. Bream for years. I don't know how she does it, but out of the hundreds of people she see every year, she always knows who I am. She is efficient with an attention to detail. Her staff have always been helpful.

I think Doctor Bream can be very ageist towards her female patients.I went in for an eye exam, and she started talking about how our body's are changing which I felt was really uncalled for and unprofessional considering she's an optometrist, not a gynecologist.I'm a women in my thirties and felt ancient beyond my years when I walked out of her office.I think she needs to keep her aging comments to herself or what ever she's going through!

Dr. Bream is an outstanding professional. I truly appreciated her thoroughness and efficiency. I mistakenly thought a practice inside Costco to be a contact/glasses mill…not so at all. Dr. Bream identified a pre-existing medical condition I neglected to put on my patient survey. She also taught me more about my vision issues and my medical condition than my former optometrist did in over 5 years of visits. She had a depth and breadth of knowledge in her field I would have expected from someone in a high end boutique practice. She is a consummate professional and at the top of her game. I’m not easily impressed but she absolutely exceeded all expectations. Notwithstanding the doctors skills the office staff is friendly, courteous, respectful and equally as efficient as the doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Bream to anyone looking for superior vision care.

I went for new glasses and Cory Bream told me I had lost vision and had glaucoma and cataracts. When I looked through the lenses she was going to prescribe I couldn't see well with them and tried to tell her this. She pulled the eye chart away and said I would never see well again and that glare would always bother me. This was strange because glare never bothered me and I could read well with off-the shelf readers. She was really negative and seemed in a hurry as two walk-ins came during my appointment. She told me she would treat me for the glaucoma herself but I didn't have vision insurance and told me to go to a specialist. I went to a real eye doctor about two weeks later and found that there was no glaucoma or cataracts and she had given me a bad prescription. If I would have had vision insurance she would be treating me for glaucoma I didn't have and I would be suffering with her poor lense prescription. She charged over twice what I paid at the opthalmalogist.
