Dr Grainger was rushed and seemed eager to move on to the next patient. He seemed knowledgeable, but his manner was not comforting, he was very abrupt.

This doctor was a rude bully that told me the test he ordered me to take only has a 70% accuracy rate, that being said, the test found nothing so I can't help you. Apparently the thought of further testing never crossed his mind?? The good new, he said is that the other test showed no MS. So apparently if you don't have MS, you don't have a need for this doctor.....and did I mention he is a bully?

Dr. G. was one of the WORST doctors I've ever been to see. At my first appointment he was rude and condescending. He said The MRI previously done was no good. He wasn't going to do anything until he realized the previous doctor had not done blood word. He didn't even allow me to tell him the full reason I was there. He made rude, non-professional remarks about the field of psychology and pyschiatry. He then ordered a PET scan. When I went to get the results, my husband went w/me. Dr. G's whole demeanor was changed, I believe because my husband was there. He was upbeat and pleasant. When he finished telling me the results of the PET scan, My husband asked, "What about the brain injury?. Dr. G said he wasn't looking for a brain injury. and then he said I probably had a chemical imbalanance and she see a psychiatrist. With that he dismissed me.

I don't know what I would have done had I not found this caring, knowledgable doctor. I was terrified and in lots of pain when I arrived in his office at age 35 with frightening symptoms. Now, eighteen years later, I am a regular patient and am outperforming my illnesses prognosis. I know my confidence in the care Dr Grainger provides has been key. I highly recommend him.

After going through 3 other neurologists, Dr. Grainger was the only one that I felt really listened to me. He was able to diagnose my seizures and migraines and they have been under control for over 3 years now.

Excellent doctor for patients with Multiple Sclerosis! Very knowledgable and aggressive when it comes to treatment. Warm, personable, and genuinely seems to care about his patients. Also, the staff (after consulting the MD) provides referrals to other needed specialists (like Urologist) with MS experience by phone. I have found this to be rare in this busy, profit focused world.
