Complained to Dr. Campbell for three months that I was loosing vision in the left upper quadrant of my right eye to no avail. After 3 months of bring this to his attention he decided I had a turn retina. Was referred to a retinologist for the repair. The retinologist did the repair. Unfortunately for the retinologist and me the tear was beyond a being repaired to restore my sight back to where it was before the tear. I now have virtually no vision in the right eye.

The care was good and I found Dr.Campbell to be attentive. However, the practice is “coin operated.” I was a referral from the Veterans Administration - meaning the VA covered the costs. Well the VA uses commercial agents to process claims (just like most insurance carriers). I was 4/5 through my treatment plan (post surgery follow-up), and the VA had just changed carriers. Long story short, Dr. Campbell’s staff refused to complete the treatment (literally just an eye pressure check) because the new carrier details weren’t immediately on file. Mind you, De Campbell's office called me 2X to confirm my appointment and had all paperwork at their disposal… yet on the morning of my appointment they noticed the VA commercial carrier had changed and refused to check my eye pressure. I was flabbergasted by their lack of patience, compassion and disinterest in me as a patient who had been seen by them five times. I sent a note to Dr.
Campbell politely suggesting an improvement to front desk customer service. Crickets.

Dr. Campbell is a good listener, he listened to my questions, and gave me clear answers. He is very friendly and personable. You don't feel like he is in a rush to get to the next patient. I recommend him highly.

First visit as a new patient after moving to this area. Dr. Campbell was recommended by our family physician. I have annual eye examinations and was anxious to establish a relationship with a doctor in this area. Dr. Campbell and staff were at tentative, courteous and helpful. Waiting time was minimal.

The staff was very efficient in getting me processed, and they still had my records even though my last visit was in 1999! Dr. Campbell and the rest of the staff were very knowledgeable. The waiting area was comfortable. A good practice overall.
