Not sure what all the negative comments are about but my experience these past 15 years has been very positive. She's not the chattiest person but I'm not there to make a new friend. She always seems genuinely concerned about my health and well-being and the exams are thorough. She herself called me recently to notify me of something that came up on a test from a totally unrelated area and prescribed a test to check out the questionable situation.

one of the rudest people, not just doctors I have ever come in contact with. Treats her patients as terrible as she treats her staff. I hear how she talks to her staff when she needs them to schedule follow up appointments and she acts like they are complete idiots. She doesn't treat her patients much better. Would not suggest her to anyone.

Wow! This doctor delivered my son 9 years ago and I see nothing has gotten better. She was extremely rude to both myself and my family on day of delivery. My son was born with Erbs and she never told me. It was one of the worst most traumatic deliveries ever. I knew my son was going to be at least 9 pounds prior to delivery and asked for a C-section. She denied me that opportunity because she said I could deliver a big baby. Well he was 9lbs 4oz. He was stuck and I had her pulling on him like she was wrestling an alligator. I was traumatized. He was blue and had no mobility of his arm. She never came back into the room to explain anything. She just delivered and left. It was a family member of mine that was a nurse that suggested I call in a pediatric neurologist. Thankfully he recommended PT and my son is fine today. I can't believe she hadn't been sued yet

Bad experience! I cannot believe this Doctor is still in business, and I am not surprised to see she is receiving bad reviews. I am taking the time to write a comment, so that other women do not have the misfortune of having Aikman as their OB/gyn.

Well, everyone has pretty much covered everything in other posts. What else is there to say besides one of the WORST doctors I have even gone too. Been going to her for years, and still cant figure out why... guess its time to change. She told me that I needed to see a shrink when I told her that I didnt want children. She also told me that I never told her about a lump in my breast when I went back in and asked her to recheck it as it had gotten bigger. The final straw for me is the lab results that sat on her desk for over 2 weeks, which were bad and she never called. I had to call the office and then got an attitude from them when I asked why no one ever called. Basically, you are taking your life into your own hands with her... Good luck if you choose to stay.

I went to her for a few years. As someone else said, her mood fluctuated. She also denied that I ever told her about the meds not working, yet my husband could vouch for it, since he heard me. She also does the eye-roll thing, which is not professional. I finally had to go to another dr.

She is so rude and cold that she made me cry. NO bedside manner and has the compassion of a snake. She refused to answer many of my valid questions and rushed me out. I actually had to ask her, "am I wasting your time". She actually rolled her eyes at this! I will never go back to her.

I have been going to Dr. Aikman for about 10 years and sometimes she is very rude and sometimes she is very very nice. I think clinically she is excellent, but her mood definitely fluctuates. If you can get past the sometimes cold demeanor then she's worth seeing.
