Breast reduction left me in tears. One breast much large than the other,. He had a little fit when I wanted them to match. Removed more tissue in the office, left a terrible scar and still the breast is larger. Worse was the horrible shaped nipples! Not round at all. Large side slanted tear drops. When I expressed my unhappiness he gruffly said that’s why he was fed up with doing cosmetic surgery and only did it to pay for his trips to do cleft palates surgeries for poor children. Great that he does that, but my reduction was medically necessary for severe neck and back pain.
He was condescending, egotistical and did a horrible job. A relative had a reduction the next year by a different doctor in town, and he did a beautiful job. Size matches perfectly from left to right breast, perfect nipples, and he said he would correct anything she was unhappy with for free. I had to pay extra and was left with a painful scar right across the breast instead of it being hidden.
His nurse was a delight, but he tried to bully me when I dared to politely question him. Horrible experience.

I had a breast implant removal with a lift. He did a HORRIBLE job. I had holes open up in my breast and severe bleeding for several weeks. After one week I had to go to another plastic surgeon as this Dr. nor his staff could be reached. I was horrible bruised, per the new doctor I saw, and swollen. Blood spurting out one of the open holes in conjunction with my heart beating. Am not needed followup surgery to correct what this monster did to me.

I was contemplating having a breast reduction. I had a couple of consultations with doctors in Eugene and in Medford. I ended up going with Dr. Worland and have never once regretted my decision. I am not fond of male doctors and made that known to him. When I was all done with everything, I told him that he was the best doctor I could have ever imagined and even today think the same. I am in the profession of bra-fittings and have been doing so for over 10+ yrs. I have referred over 15+ people to him for reductions, implants, or any other plastic surgery. He joked with me the morning of the surgery, held my hand when I went under (in the operating room), and was there for every minute I needed him (even though I lived 1 1/2 hrs. away). Highly recommend him and would never change my mind on that! His staff worked with me extensively to make sure I was pre-approved for the surgery and then for my insurance to cover all aspects of the surgery so I wouldn't be surprised at the end~

After talking with a couple other local plastic surgeons, I felt much more 'at home' with Dr. Worland and his staff. Dr. Worland is a character! He is a no nonsense guy, but at the same time I felt he was very knowledgeable and kind. His staff is fantastic - unpretentious and so happy to answer questions (both during my visit and afterward when I called more than once).

I was sent to a plastic surgeon for cyst removal because of the risk of scarring. From what I've seen, the dr usually does one or two cuts and work inside those to remove the cyst. This dr cut around the cyst removing a chunk of skin as well. The result was a partial removal of the cyst, an infection, and a huge, painful scar on my upper chest. When I voiced my concerns, he looked at me and and told me the huge scar should be the least of my concerns. My follow up, despite the infection, was 5 minutes. He didn't give me my lab results and didn't look at the infection. I had to see another dr for the infection and will have to go to another plastic surgeon to fix the scar.

My husband went to Dr. Worland after an accident that degloved his finger. The doctor at the ER specifically told him that he would need to see a surgeon and that he was only doing stitches to hold it together until then. Dr. Worland very quickly unwrapped it, took one look, said it looked fine, re-wrapped it, and sent us on our way. We drove two hours for this? Now what? Very frustrating and unhelpful!
