I was just recently released back to work by Dr. Rungee. I have a partial rotator cuff tear that was shown on my MRI. Please god never go and see this guy for a shoulder injury. I have currently been out of work for 3 months and all he has done is send me for 5 physical therapy visits and gave me cortison(sp?) shots. The original plan he gave me was there would be three steps 1.physical therapy if that fails 2. cortison shots if that fails 3. surgery. After my therapy and cortison shots there was no improvement whatsoever, so i expected to have surgery so i could get back to work. My last visit went awesome, this was his exact wording when asked about my FCE " I don't have time to read all of this". He then told me he was releasing me back to work because there was nothing further he could do for me. He normally spent 30 seconds in the room with me and in the end he said he didnt know what my limitations were. now i have to get a 2nd opinion just so i can get the treatment i need.
