I have never been to this doctor and yet my Federal Blue Cross and Blue Shield was billed. I received an explanation of benefits where I was supposedly at this clinic in 2/2/2021. It had been denied for wrong coding. I called my insurance provider and ask them who this doctor was and i ask what kind of doctor he was. They told me and I told them I did not know this doctor and that i had never used him. The insurance company called this office and no one answered the phone. The insurance agent told me she would try again tomorrow, So I looked his name and number up on google and I called the number that was listed. It went to voice mail with a complete different phone number. No one has called me as of yet. I hope this is not someone trying to scam insurance companies. I hope it is just an honest mistake, but the one suspicion I do have is how did they know my insurance number an my address? people be aware and read you mail very carefully. There are so many scams going on you just really don't know who or what to believe.
