We've been seeing Dr. Summers since rhe early 1990'son when our kids were little. In fact, my daughtee has kept Dr. Summers as her primary physician and we both love her. She's the best! :)

My husband went to her as his usual doc was not there but went in for nausea she wanted to do an upper GI which is not necessary and when he refused she got very snotty and short tempered with him which was uncalled for.

I was her patient for years before I became chronically ill. Once I began seeing her for more than a sore throat, my care became apathetic. I have been sent to additional specialists, but she has done minimal follow-up or research of her own. It is my own research that has allowed any headway in my care (and I am supposed to be the patient.) She makes almost no attempt to work with the other doctors involved in my care, and she is supposed to be the primary physician. And after 6 years as her patient, and 2 years requiring chronic care, she has decided to drop my insurance, mid-year. And the rub, was that it was actually the insurance company that let me know I was being reassigned, not her or her office. Bottom line: If you need well care...she'll do. But don't expect any miracles from her for any other complaints.
