Biography
About Dr. Relle Dr. Robert Relle was attracted to oral and maxillofacial surgery — jaw surgery specifically — while in dental school. He knew he didn’t want to spend his career doing generic procedures when he had the skills to provide more life-changing care to patients. He was inspired by the impact he knew he could provide with jaw treatment, and it was a no-brainer to pursue oral and maxillofacial surgery and specialize in corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Relle decided to work in private practice because it gives him the opportunity to work with all sorts of other specialists and provide the highest quality of care. When patients visit a specialist, they know they are getting the best chance for optimal results. He loves seeing the change in patients and restoring their oral function and self-confidence. Education Dr. Relle knew he wanted to pursue a dental career early on in life, so he attended Purdue University to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in pre-dental sciences. In 1982, after graduating from Purdue, he continued his education at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He graduated in 1985 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and began searching for a residency program. Residency After interviewing at UCLA Medical Center, he was offered a residency spot in their program. He moved to LA and completed his oral and maxillofacial residency and then chose to stay in the area. During his residency, he gained hands-on experience treating a wide range of oral and facial conditions. He also trained alongside licensed anesthesiologists and gained the qualifications to administer all forms of anesthesia safely. Certification In addition to his education, Dr. Relle also completed rigorous oral and written exams in order to earn his certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Being a board-certified oral surgeon demonstrates Dr. Relle’s exemplary status and proves his extensive knowledge of the oral and maxillofacial specialty.

I cannot find a better md or the surgical procedure that he did ! He is the state of the art ! Professional and expert maxilofacial surgery ! The outcome was excellent !
