The front desk people are very nice but Dr. Yunk and his assistant were very demeaning of my tooth concerns. I now have missing teeth because, in my opinion, of his lack of skills and inability to listen to my concerns and pain. The specialists and doctors I needed to see said I received "bad" dental work and he failed to see this. As a woman, I found him to be very demeaning toward me. My new dental office said I have beautiful teeth and it's a shame a few are missing so I do not recommend this dental office as you could end up with missing teeth like me.

I went to Dr Yunk with some tooth pain concerns. A few teeth had new fillings done by my new dentist as my other dentist retired. I spoke with him about the pain I had been having and his assistant took x-rays and he said there "was nothing wrong" and that I had "nothing to complain about." I was relieved because it felt like something was very wrong. About a month later I got a letter that said he was refusing me as a patient. I didn't know what I did wrong and I was embarrassed to see another dentist. A few years later one of the teeth abscessed and caused a "significant" infection, according to the dentist I found. I was lucky an area dentist would see me to help me. I was sent to an Endodontist who said that the tooth died because the nerve had been drilled into and that the tooth was disintegrated and was now disintegrating my jaw bone. If Dr Yunk were a competent dentist he would have told me the tooth died and needed help. I was immediately sent to an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed and now have a missing tooth. If Dr Yunk had told me the tooth died it could have been saved then with a root canal. I just feel he is cruel and dangerous, my opinion based on my experience with him. A very toxic dental provider. My husband and I are educated professionals with college degrees from excellent universities and I trusted Dr Yunk and I regret doing so. I do not recommend Dr Derelict Yuck.
