I’m shocked he still has a license. This man is a terrible doctor, he is all about workers comp insurance and doesn’t put his patience first. Let’s not leave Tammy out, she is as bad as DiPaola

What a great experience I had with this doctor and his staff. The office was friendly and I felt well cared for. My surgery was very successful and I went back to work so I could take care of my family. Still working on getting stronger, but they told me it would take time.

Horrible and shady. I wish I would have checked this out before I went to see him but since I was referred I didn't think of it. My mistake. I never saw him until my last visit with them although he signed all my forms. I saw Tammy for about 5 mos and she said I should get surgery well then on my next visit I saw Dr Dipaola who told me i need to go see someone in phsiatry and he would no longer be seeing me. I had to go find a new dr, schedule a appt with them and have them take over my care. During the time until I saw the new dr I had run out of my gabapentin that I had been prescribed for 6 mos so I called his office to see about a refill and he said no refills thus making me quit without weaning off of them like you should to prevent seizures and many other possible side effects. The only reason I could see for him just dropping me out of the blue would be that my claims manager asked me something about Dr Dipaola and I said I didn't know I have never seen him and maybe he told her otherwise. I don't know. Weird as my claims manager says and very unprofessional for someone in healthcare to not properly wean someone off of a med like that. Mind you I was only asking for a 5 day supply to carry me through to the meeting with the new dr.

He hurt my foot more than the injury causing years of pain. Doctors scanned his "work" and reported it was fine incorrectly and set to fail. He is a workmans comp quack!

Did not help me. Now im worse then ever. He is a quack and his office helper Tammy hates men if you know what i mean and is very rude. They are hidious. Run away from them. All they do is save the insurance company money by processing you like a can of tuna.

I went to the Occupational Orthopedics' Gateway office (102nd & NE Holladay). I have never been treated with so much disrespect from a doctor in my life. I am so stunned by my appointment with him that I'm actually submitting a review!

He would ask me a direct question, and then speak over me while I tried to answer to tell me I was answering him incorrectly. He literally yelled at my daughter when she tried to offer information about my medical condition. He was unbelievably rude to her on a number of occasions during the appointment. I would never recommend that anyone sees this "doctor" for any reason whatsoever. If you have been scheduled with him due to a workers' comp claim, just call and ask for a different doctor. He is the worst.
