I was referred to Dr Skinner for the severe head pain I was experiencing. She insisted it was just a tension headache. I disagreed, as I couldn’t tolerate the pain. I suffered from migraines over 20 years ago, and I recognized this was something more severe. I demanded a CT scan, to which she responded “I’ll order one, but I know they won’t find anything”. The CT scan showed I had a subdural hematoma. I was treated poorly. I felt like she did not want to help me.

A terrific neurologist who is as extremely competent as she is caring. Recently had a mild stroke and the neurologist at the hospital lacked bedside manner and comprehensive information. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Skinner. She quickly gained my trust and put me at ease. She explained the illness and what I can do to prevent another stroke. She scheduled additional tests and contacted me with the positive results. I'm on the way to a rapid 100% recovery. By every measure Dr. Skinner is wonderful and I'm grateful to have her as my neurologist.

BEST NEUROLOGIST EVER! I was suffering from seizure like episodes that no other doctor could diagnose. She is the best at what she does and very knowledgeable. She is thorough and great to work with. Definately the doctor you want.
