Attentive and thorough...you can actually communicate with Dr Givens by text and email, with responses usually the same day!

I very much appreciate the access we have to Dr. Givens and staff. Texts, emails, and calls are responded to promptly. Lab results are quick, and passed on to us asap. I was referred to other doctors/specialists for various procedures (colonoscopy, ultrasound, mammogram, etc etc), and Dr. Givens was great about making sure they contacted me for appointment scheduling in a timely fashion, and shared results with me asap.

Not sure about all the negative comments below. I question the influx of possible State Medicaid people (Free Health Care) she cared for and yes she had to do what she had to do. I find personally Dr Givens to be extremely educated and wise. With the new model of care that she is doing (Direct Primary Care) I find is the wisest thing she could have introduced to our community. Dr Givens has treated me as a patient with the up most respect and care and she treated a condition of mine that would have been unaffordable anywhere else. Since she has gone Direct Primary Care I have had longer appt times and I have not had to wait but just a few minutes before I saw her. Her staff is amazing, thank you Bonnie and Linda for your attentiveness and care. I love how there are only 2 staff members now! Dr Givens you can be my Doctor any day. Thank you for the kindness and care!

Her staff was just as rude as she was! She's got a superiority complex, would not recommend.

New patient interview was thorough and efficient. She treated me with dignity and respect despite my eccentricities regarding medical care in general. I am not a very good patient! Most doctors write me off when they find out I will not jump through HMO mandated medical hoops but Dr. Givens was attentive to my agenda and my concerns. I am delighted she has broken ranks with the impersonal, protocol-driven, insurance-managed healthcare system in favor of providing individualized care with an eye toward establishing an actual relationship with her patient. Hopefully I will no longer be shuttled from one PCP to the next based on the whim of whatever insurance companies decide now that she has instituted a Direct Primary Care practice.

Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from but I found her office staff to be friendly and the doctor's beside manner to be caring, patient, focused and respectful.

No follow through. Very poor beside manner. Always runs late by an hour. Kinda funny since my appointments are always the first one of the day. Why make 8am slots when you don't come in until 9am!
