The first time I saw Dr. Detti, I don't even think she had read medical records. She was asking me questions that would have been answered if she had read the records. I wanted to have fibroids removed to increase my chance of getting pregnant, but her first thought was to recommend a hysterectomy. She asked if my husband and I had children as an after thought. She did not strike me as a competent doctor, and I did not feel like she cared about helping us have a baby.

Dr. Detti seems to be a good and caring Doctor. However the practice she has joined (Fertility Associates of Memphis) is the WORST patient experience I have ever had. The reception & admin staff are very rude and extremely unhelpful in everything--but especially acerbic, incompetent, and condescending at sending medical records to your main doctor or OB/GYN. They won't send them, won't send them timely, will send part, or only the parts they feel like, and act like they are doing you a huge favor. I have 3! medical releases on file-each to me(!) so I can take records to my doctor myself. Even then they argued. How hard is it to put the chart on the autofeed and hit copy or fax? Other problems: nurses doing all procedures. So why am I paying the doctor? Callous disregard for patient pain in both IUI & sono.Dirty room where blood is drawn. Zero "relief art" on the walls in any procedure room--no way to focus away from the pain. Just med drawings of vaginas everywhere. AWFUL. Go elsewhere
