Dr Manzi removed a bunion on my right foot in 2003 or 2004. I REGRET the surgery EVERY SINGLE DAY. She botched up the surgery. The titanium (*) that was placed in my foot came loose within 3-4 weeks. Had to have a second surgery and when the bandage was ultimately removed, my big toe was pushed over to the second toe----permanently (rather than straight forward like my other toes). She said, "Some women like their toes that way because it works better with pointed shoes." Total BS. I also have permanent nerve damage in my second toe such that I can only ignore the sensation if I am wearing shoes. I have frequent aching where the surgery was done and know I'll eventually have to go through surgery again when I can no longer tolerate the pain. I had the surgery done at Kaiser and left Kaiser because of this bad experience. I am sorry it has taken me 15+ years to post the review as I wouldn't want anyone else to have my experience. Don't risk Dr Manzi. Find another doctor. I've marked all rating areas as 1 star b/c she doesn't deserve anything higher than a 1-star w/ an outcome such as mine.

Dr Manzi treated me 6 years ago, performing surgery to correct a problem I’d been suffering from a very long time. She and her staff were responsive and friendly throughout the process (which was lengthy and painful). Dr Manzi did an excellent job explaining the condition causing my pain, and presenting the pros and cons of each option available to address it.

I think Dr.Manzi is a Great Podiatrist. I went to her when she was in private practice many yrs ago. Iam now delighted to see her at Kaiser. She has taken very good care of my feet, with minimal amount of pain. the staff is also very good. Remember this is Kaiser, I have no complaints about Dr>Manzi at all.

She put me in three casts without any idea why. She thought maybe it would help. The problem was she never even diagnosed the problem and still three years later I have chronic foot pain.
