Absolutely terrible. She made me wait over an hour past my scheduled appointment time and I could see her sitting in her office doing nothing. She was rude and asked tons of invasive personal questions constantly. Her eye exam was subpar as she only tried two len options and just gave me my same old prescription despite my vision having gotten worse. I will never go back to Dr Orr and recommend everyone avoid her.

When making the appointment I explained I needed the first appointment in any morning she had available. I was told that on Thursday, December 5, 2013, I would be her first appointment; 10:30 AM. Upon arriving at 9:45 AM, there were two other patients before me. Upon inquiring I was told the doctor does not begin seeing Medicare patients before 10:30 AM. The two patients before me were not Medicare patients. Why was I not told this when scheduling the appointment? And why do Medicare patients get pushed behind other patients?

Was charged $30 more than I was quoted when making a contact exam appointment. This so-called doctor insisted I have an astigmatism (of course it costs more for an astigmatism exam). Orr wanted to change contact types, give me one contact for astigmatism in one eye; different magnifications for each eye (this contradicted my opthamologist prescription of 4 months earlier!). Then Orr had the nerve to give me a 3-30 day window to get the contacts she claimed I needed! Her assistant informed me they threw away all their inventory because it was expired and they now had to wait to get new inventory...sounds like a management problem to me! Get your act together!!!! Went to another optometrist 2 days later, got my script (which matched my opthamologist's) and 3 days later I had my contacts!!! Orr could have caused serious injury to my eyes. I have filed a formal complaint with the state licensing board. Two other people I know had the same problem with her.
