The best Surgeon in the world. He has done 3 surgery on my back 2 surgery's were my fault for not listening to him however he was always there when i needed him.

I had suffered from a degenerating back condition for several years before finally being referred to Dr. Ganocy in 2017. At the time, he suggested avoiding surgery as long as my back condition did not overly impact my quality of life. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and continued to work with my regular doctor. By the middle of 2019, my back condition got bad enough that I could barely move or do all of the things I used to love to do, like work in my workshop, and play with my grandchildren. I literally could no longer stand for more than a minute at a time. So I sought him out again, and he helped me consider all my options. In the end, we decided on a Laminectomy. Dr. Ganocy was incredibly thorough in discussing the surgery, prep, and recovery, with a terrific bedside manner. Laminectomies can be complicated and scary, especially for someone of my age and with my health, and he was very, very, reassuring.

Surgery was on October 10, 2019. Within three days I was able to walk. About two months later, my life has completely changed. I can walk for half an hour; all my pain is gone; and I can wrestle on the couch with my 4 year old grandchild. It’s not too much to say that Dr. Ganocy changed my life; neither is it too much to say that he saved my quality of life. And he did it while always keeping me informed, and providing me with all the support I could have possibly hoped for. I owe him a tremendous, tremendous, debt.

Dr Ganocy operated on my husband who had a stenosis of cervical (neck) Spine with Myelopathy which happened suddenly. He correctly diagnosed the seriousness of the situation (through CT and MRI’s) and performed a successful 3+ hours surgery within 12 hours of admission. His quick response may have saved my husband from permanent paralysis. His bedside manner is reassuring pre & post operative. He answers questions and deals with concerns in a positive manner. Totally felt confident.

March 15, 2016 Dr. Ganocy performed spine surgery on my back, fusing vertebrae L2-S1. It was a very successful surgery and my pain was completely gone. After care was excellent. Thank you so much, Dr. Ganocy!!

Dr. Ganocy is a great surgeon. My surgery was successful to remove one of my 3 herniated discs and now I no longer have pinched nerves in my legs.

Had a sucessful spine surgery so far 2 months in. There were some inconsistencies on what i was told about why my spinal sac was accidently opened,,i dont understand why i wasnt told the truth. My aftercare in the Sunset facility was like gettng care in a third world country. they (Kaiser) hire agency medical personnel on the weekends and they are lazy and dont care about the patients.

On July 17, 2012, at the age of 67, I had surgery for scoliosis. I was diagnosed at 60 years old and deteriated very quickly. Always in pain, unable to sleep except in a chair, loss of balance, and height. Finally my right side rib cage began to collapse starting to damage internal organs. If left untreated I would be now confined to a wheel chair and live in a facility. My successful surgery was performed by Dr. Terry Kent Ganocy II MD at the Los Angeles Kaiser Medical Center, Sunset As of January 2013, within 6 months of the surgery, I am pain free, and straight. I am again able to care for myself, my dogs, work part time, and volunteer. I have a quality life again. Without Dr. Ganocy’s skill as a surgeon, and his compassion, none of this would have been possible. He is the best, and I am forever in his debt, Patricia A. Korten, Kaiser member over 50 years.
