Dr. O's approach is to naturally heal the underlying causes of symptoms. I've had terrible asthma and allergies my entire life and I didn't know it was possible for me to be healthy without allergy shots, antihistamines and inhalers. Now, I'm almost completely off all those medications and I am happier, stronger and more energetic. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone, health is possible!!! Thanks you so much, Dr. O!

Dr. Osterhout, Dr. Angel, Dr. Beavers and the staff at Vitality Healthcare have helped changed my life for the better. After being overweight and living a unhealthy lifestyle for most of my life ~ my body was a mess! I feel like years have been put back on my life. My experience is very similar to the one posted on 4-28-13 below. A big disappointment to me was that I was told that I was a "success story" and when I said I didn't feel like one and had some concerns, those comments felt like they were brushed off. I'm glad Dr. Osterhout's approach seems to help so many people, but it didn't work for me.

I've been to a couple of other Chiropractors in Kalamazoo, along with my primary care Doctor. My Primary Doc still has his place for my health, and the two Chiropractors said all they needed to do is adjust the spine and all will be better. However, no doctor has been as informative as Dr. O! His depth of knowledge and willingness to teach has been a blessing. I've seen such great results and am so thankful to have discovered his practice. My G.I. issues are gone, and I feel great! What to expect? He asks you do be an active participant in your health, so it takes a little work on patience. For me, the investment in my own health has been worth it!!!!

I have been going to Dr O for 1 and a half years. I started when I was 12 and now I am 13 and 1/2. I used to be very impatient and pretty crabby. Now I am patient and not so grumpy. I just want people to know that Dr O has helped me and if you go on Dr Os program it will help you too.

I have been under Dr Osterhout's care for over a year now. I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the way my body has been healing....it is a continuous process. I have learned that you have to be in a cooperative partnership with the doctor. Listen, educate yourself, follow recommendations, give feedback. Be patient. Work with the process and you will find that you will gradually "read" your body better than ever before and it will thank you many times over.

I went in open minded and avid for care. I wound up with a $600 bill including a trip to the ER in under 2 weeks! I experienced the worst pain in my life. I had to be driven to the hospital where they put an IV in me and 4 different intravenous drugs to get any relief. Trust your instincts and no matter how my way or the highway just say NO if you think it's not for you. There are many ways to heal yourself and many people out there to help. I'm worse off than when I started and a whole heck of a lot poorer.

My expectations for better health have been surpassed since being under Dr Osterhout’s care. The original issue that had not been resolved by a dermatologist is now under control. In addition, I have experienced improvement in my mood, have almost no anxiety (that was a real problem that I thought had no answer), and have dropped several pounds, among other things. I went to Dr O's presentation. It's great because it was a "jump start" to what was -for me- a brand new way to look at why I had problems and how they can be addressed. I have benefited from chiropractic care for many years, but Dr. Osterhout takes healing to a new level. I highly recommend Dr O.
