Wow!!! These other reviewers have nailed it on the head. This broad is definitely in it for the money! Listen, I am a female, and I wouldn't ever call a woman a broad, unless I felt it was an "on the spot' characterization, it is here. Basically, I have a son with severe eczema, she is the treating physician. This Dr. took a solid week to deny a refill for my Son's flare up because she wanted me to schedule a follow up appt. Who does that? Meanwhile, My son is itching, and uncomfortable, for a solid week of no response. Poor patient management, poor service. I am fortunate that can choose who my son's see's, so we have changed doctors.

Unnecessary procedure. Pre-cancerous lesion which could have been corrected with cream (and yes, I've consulted with three other derms). She never even broached the topic of a cream to correct it. She immediately elected for an in-office procedure (requiring stitches) costing a small fortune. Would never! see her again. Money-hungry physician. Please, don't see this 'dermatologist.' She's in it for the money only! So disappointing.

What a NIGHTMAREAA! Dr. Adams did an unneccessary irreversible biopsy after correctly guessing what the probem was, the same diagnosis as a nurse/practitioner. She would then not speak to me about the scar or the necessity of the procedure, pawning me off on her nurses and others. The procedure cost almost $1500, most of which my insurance wouldn't pay, when she could have just charged me $200 and done some inexpensive bloodwork. She didn't give me that option or tell me how much the procedure would cost. Talking to her superiors got us nowhere. She is in this for the MONEY, she doesn't care what scars she leaves or how traumatized she leaves a patient. Stay far away. If she cared about lives of patients she'd be an ob/gyn or a heart surgeon. Instead she takes samples of simple rashes and charges thousands of dollars for it. She should be banned from the profession.

My appointment with Dr. Adams lasted less than 10 minutes. I got a bill for $600. This works out to more than $3,600 per hour! Her total services rendered were to look at a couple of warts and spray me with liquid nitrogen in 3 places. The liquid nitrogen treatment did not help the warts. Definitely not worth $3,600 per hour. I've heard from other Palo Alto Medical Foundation patients that their charges for dermatological visits are absurdly high. In my experience they are focused on quick revenue generation as opposed to patient care.
