Dr Barakat is the best cardiologist I have ever worked with. He cares deeply for his pts.

He gave my husband approximately three minutes of his time and didn't even look at his ankles. My husband's edema was, at that point, very obvious. When we got to the parking lot, my spouse turned to me and said, "He's written me off." This broke my heart. I know a lot of people swear by this doctor, but I'm more inclined to swear at him. He obviously didn't care a hoot about my husband, just getting him in and out quickly. We transferred to another cardiologist, of course.
