Wow! My vet could treat me more effectively than this woman. The billing staff is even worse, I can't actually figure out if it's dishonesty or stupidity.

I've been a patient of Dr. Neary for almost 20 years, through skin cancer, depression, back problems, internal issues, physicals, endless sinus infections and more. She caught my melanoma before it began spreading, and my surgeon implied that Dr. Neary probably saved my life. She is patient and always listens thoroughly -- I've never, ever felt rushed in this office -- and has referred me to specialists numerous times without a hitch. Ever since she's been with McKenzie Family Practice, I rarely have to wait more than a few days for an appointment and almost never more than a few minutes in the waiting room. At my physical this summer, she spent what felt like an hour examining me, asking questions and just talking about health matters in general. Leah, her assistant, is fantastic and even knows who I am when I call! I never recommend my doctors/dentists/etc. to friends because everyone has such different needs and expectations, but I've been with Dr. Neary for almost two decades, and I think that speaks for itself.

Dr. Neary has very little knowledge, and doesn't seem to care to seek out the knowledge she needs to treat patients. Her communication skills and compassion are extremely limited. Since she is my primary care physician, she had to be the doctor to refer me to specialists, and their reports went to her. When those specialists determined I wasn't going to get better and I needed to fill for social security disability, the forms all required paperwork from my primary care physician. I got a call from her office saying it was too much work, so she would only do it if I paid her $100. Completely unethical and lazy. This IS her job.

Very rude and uncaring. Doesn't seem concerned for her patients. Rushes you out, even though there were no other patience at all in the lobby. Don't waste your time with this doctor, you will feel unhappy when you leave.

She was the worst doctor I have encountered. The first appointment I had, she was fantastic. Then I switched insurance to oregon health plan and everything changed. I have chronic migraines and neck pain from a car accident. She prescibed imitrex and flexeril the first appointment which was great. A few weeks later I had switched insurance. I also had started getting migraines daily and was not able to get rid of them. I went infor an appointment and while I was there I had a
Terrible migraine and had developed severe joint pain. I am 26 years old and had never has joint pain in my hands or feet. Only my neck pain. She blew it off completely and kept trying to get me to
Leave. I was also so tired I could barely make it up my stairs. I called two days later, I could not even get out of bed my head hurt so bad and I felt so terrible. I told her assistant I was going to go to urgent care and she said Neary had said, "you don't need to go to urgent care just take more imitrex"!!! At this point I realized they could no5 care any less about me and went to the emergency room. The emergency room doctor was very concerned. He immediately did blood work which Neary NEVER ordered! I TESTED POSITIVE FOR MONO! the ER doctor was amazed a dr. Would not immediately think abiut testing for that with my symptoms. I called Nearys assistant immediately after leaving the hospital and told her I had mono. She never apologized! She said, "oh, thats too bad. Well all we can do is treat symtoms so just call and tell us what you are experiencing and we will help" that was the last time I could get anyone on the phone! I tried to get an anti nausea med and they never called me back, I tried to get my flexeril renewed for my joint and neck pain, never called back. If you want to be treated like you are less than human and have someone not care - by all means go see her. If you want a doctor that cares and isn't going to completely blow you off- see someone else.

She's been my doctor for about three years. She helped me manage my chronic back pain. She can be blunt but I like that in a doctor. She's not a therapist, she's a GP. I would recommend her to anyone.

I found her very caring and willing to take the time to listen to all my problems. She didn't rush me out the way some doctors do. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Dr Neary from another patient of hers. Called for an appointment but was told I could not get see her because I "had health problems". Well I was very upset.....So I waited a few months, cooled off and called again. Got right in. Dr Neary was very rude, did not seem to care at all for me. Did not listen to any of my concerns. I left there feeling let down. I had hoped to find a great new doc as mine had retired. The office then called in prescriptions that I had not asked for and it messed up my mail-order pharmacy RX's. VERY unhappy with them. I do NOT recommend anyone to see her. I had asked others about her and they said the same thing. Rude and uncaring. Too bad.
