I have been going to Dr. Allen for years and I believe the staff is very nice. As for the front desk I know for a fact that the girl working at the front is not his daughter. His daughter is Dr. Cates who works in the office with him. She is wonderful with children. Dr. Allen is a very good dentist to go to. He can do almost anything from crowns, bridges, root canals, pulling teeth, and fillings. He is very good at what he does. I guess people have their own opinions but just because someone has one bad experience doesn't mean you need to go trashing the office. Everyone has their good and bad days. I give this dentist five stars!

Worst staff in history. Filled ancavity without asking. I paid for them giving me a shot and then they billed my insurance which didn't understand why they were paying for a filling on the same tooth. I have a $65 balance. Until they get a new billing clerk who actually knows how to be professional and honest...STAY AWAY. Will be turning my chart in to my insurance company I pray they get audited.

The dentist was great, but the person in charge of billing was unbelievable bad! I later found out that she was the daughter of one of the dentists in the practice - which explains ow she can keep her job. Unfortunately, I don't want to have a battle every time I see the dentist, so I'm looking for a new dentist with a more competent account manager.
