I have been a patient of Merilee's for almost 30 years. She has always been spot-on with all my ailments, sicknesses, and emergencies I have experienced over the years. In my book, she is an excellent PA and I recommend her 100%.

I have seen this PA for more than 10 years and to my surprise, she nearly killed me this past month. Her lack of concern to the primary reason of my appointment regarding abnormal vaginal bleeding/discharge almost cost me my life. She decided to correlate my abnormal bleeding/discharge to my fibroid while dismissing the note made by the nurse and myself of "foul odor" which suggests bacteria. I also have a history of developing bacterial vaginosis, as she is aware. As a result of her negligence to examine me, 12 days later, I had a septic shock that took me to the ER with a 5% chance of survival. Results showed: UTI, E.Coli, Gardnerella Vaginitis, and Acute Kidney Injury. After reviewing the medical chart if my visit Summerfield, I discovered falsified statements in the record, stating that I "refused vaginal examination" which is false as she never offered it to begin with. I have no reason to decline what I'm there to relieve. She should not be practicing. WARNING: AVOID THIS PA AT ALL COST!
