An excellent doctor. She is very responsive, highly technical and takes the time to understand the patient. She is also effective, and professional. I use her to benchmark when looking for other doctors. She has qualities that are missing from HMO providers. I found her to be very thorough and competent.

I have seen Michelle Kwok about two years ago. If I could give a 0 star to any doctor, it would be Michelle Kwok. Michelle Kwok handled my case very unprofessionally and as a result I was admitted to the hospital again. When I saw Michelle Kwok, I hadn't had symptoms for more than three years and was on the path to recovery. My previous doctor had been decreasing my medicine slowly, once every 6 months. When I saw Michelle Kwok, she said that since I haven't had symptoms for 3 years, I could decrease the medication rapidly. As a result, she decreased my medication very quickly to almost zero dosage. Then my symptoms started coming back again. I was sick but I wasn't aware of it. I kept missing her office appointments. But all she did was charging me fees for missing appointments, without realizing the fact that my symptoms have been coming back. I saw her three days before I went to the hospital again, but she didn't detect anything wrong with me. If she had the knowledge about medicine withdrawal effects she wouldn't have lowered my medicine so quickly. If she was observant and cared about her patients, she would've noticed that my symptoms were coming back during those many visits that I had been paying to her office. Even after I was released from the hospital, I saw her again to do paper work for disability benefits. She did them, but she charged me $70 for doing paperwork. I get the sense that Michelle Kwok is a doctor who has no compassion, no knowledge, no professionalism, and is in this profession only for the money. I sinerely wish Michelle Kwok will not continue being a doctor.
