Horrible service. I go with my dad to his appointments as he has difficulty in hearing. So when he was referred to Dr. Kada for his diabetes, she was very cold to us and condescending. She seems to have a pattern of saying " I didn't know you were here" when she comes into the room to see you. The first time, I let it go as these things happen, but I thought it was bit suspicious when her nurse came out to us before our appointment to tell us they they were running behind cause of an emergency. Ok, cool, that happens, we were in no rush. So when she said that to us on the first visit, it was bit odd to me. She then told us we needed to see her in 2 weeks, but when we made the next appointment, they told us she was out on vacation that time so the next availability wasn't until May. So then the receptionist asked her and she told us to come in the following week. Ok we do.

At the second appointment, we come in early, get checked in. Her nurse was really nice and he answered the questions we had and told us what the procedure was. He would take the device, upload it to the system so Dr. Kada could see the data and then told us she would be in after that. So we waited and she came in and she immediately said the same thing she told us last week, " I didn't know you were here" and both times she blamed her nurses for that. Once was little suspicious, but understandable, but twice? And the same excuse?

So she asked us why were we there ( which I thought she would know that?) but I digress, So I explained to her why we were there and the steps her nurse told us and she just cuts me off and tells me to calm down and proceeds to keep saying the same excuse. As my dad was explaining to her his medications he was taking, she kept rushing him and then just left in a hurry after it was done.

My dad did not like this, nor how she made him feel during the appointment. So we getting a new referral to a different endocrinologist. I do not recommend Dr. Kada.

Did not read charts, would not explain any of her plans, and tried to end meetings after around a min when it was scheduled for 40 mins.

Very kind and educated doctor, she treats you like a person and takes her time to treat you and answer all you questions she spent an hour with me, she even gives you a discount or doesn't charge you at all if you don't have money, the best endocrinologist ever.

Very cool to read reviews from others who have the same experience as I do. She is a kind and genuine person who does not treat you like a 'patient' but rather a person. She sits with you and listens to what you are saying attentively. It is clear that she is a very educated woman who is passionate about what she does. I wish all doctors had her same bedside manner as it would be a totally different industry with happier patients.

I have been to several endocrinologists and none has provided the level listening, caring and compassion for a patient. I look forward to my appointments as I know if I have a question or concern she will take the time to answer them.

I have never seen or talked to any doctor who actually doesn't care how long they spend with you. She spends all the time that is needed. She is the very best in the industry, and I have seen many!

Dr. Kada took great care and time in her overall review and assessment. She was a great listener, and provided various alternatives for treatment; i felt i was in very good hands.
