Set my broken wrist wrong. Had to have surgery to correct it

Dr. Welles fixed my shattered wrist. It now functions as well as my other wrist. I will always be grateful to him for his excellent skill and care.

Cocked hand crooked in cast and it healed that way. Now it's deformed, he's terrible.

poor at diagnosing- poor at follow through and exceptionally poor with people skils. I found a new doctor before having the opportunity to disconver his skill at surgery.

DR.'s has very poor follow-up: little to no return of phone calls. when seeing him for knee injuries the result of an accident, he was most eager to schedule surgery without diagnostic testing. also wanted to do surgery on "good knee" : when i requested mris it took 3 mo.s for him to order them & never even got back to me with results. obviously ,i found another orthopedic M.D. who ordered appropriate pre-surgery testing; and thus, performed successful surgery on the "correct" knee! front office staff is also most unhelpful & often quite rude. The P.A. Andrew Dorison, on the other hand is amazing and deserves 5+ in every catagory listed: unfortunatlly, it appeared he spends much time appologizing to patients for the many failures of this office. In addition, this office had difficulty even getting test results sent to new surgeon: eventhough they were part of same medical group!
