I have been going to Dr, Raja for the past three years, it was very weird that he always told me that I either had some kind of UTI or some other kind of infection but I never had any kind of symptoms. He never takes his time to listen to his patients. I refuse to go back , it's a complete waste of money on seeing and on meds that I never needed to begin with .

This is long but please read it. I am not writing this for sympathy or for attention. I know that all things happen for a reason and what is meant to be will be. With that being said I am writing this in hopes of other women will not have to go through what I did. June 1st 2015 was the day I found out I was pregnant. I was using Dr Raja thinking his staff and him were okay. I had to go through fertility treatment to get pregnant. Once I found out I was pregnant the entire situation changed. This was my first pregnancy so I had a lot of questions and concerns. I have an extensive medical history that I felt was important for the Dr. to know but every time I brought it up he wouldn’t let me finish talking. Almost every visit the Dr. spent maybe 5 minutes in the room. He never called Hunter-Ray a baby they called him a creature. Every time I called the office and asked a question I basically got shut down and they told me everything was normal. Not one time did I receive any don’t do this, or do this, or any kind of helpful information. I know I should have changed Dr. a lot sooner but I was trying to keep a doctor that was close to me just in case something happened. I spent about 2.5 to 3 months before we decided enough was enough. One time I went in because I was bleeding and having to pretty intense pain, turns out I had a bad reaction to some meds they gave me and all they seemed concerned about was me paying for my delivery I was even 3 months pregnant and I was freaking out. Instead of its okay calm down all I got was next time you need to pay towards the delivery or we are going to see you. I explained to them I wasn’t going to deliver the baby in Odessa I was just waiting till I moved to San Angelo and I would find a doctor here and deliver here. They had me convinced I was being a baby and everything was fine. They told me over and over pains are a good sign bleeding and leaking are normal you will be fine you need to suck it up. Martin told me it was time to change doctors so we did at the middle of August. When I got the new doctor they told me I would have to pay copays because my insurance doesn’t require it was pregnancy was confirmed 6/1/15. So I call my insurance to confirm and no I don’t have to so they told me to contact Dr. Rajas office and get the money back I had paid to them a total of $140. So once I call them the heck began. WE don’t owe you anything. We will have to check and see. I’ll call you back. Billing isn’t in. Your insurance won’t pay us. You might owe a bill. I can’t tell you how much your bill is. These were just some of the excuses I have received. Almost two months of calling questions I still have yet to receive any money back, I have requested numerous times to talk to a manager, I was told I call too much, I waited too late to call, my file has been archived, and if I was going to keep calling and asking questions they were going to send me any money back. My last week of work or so I thought was going to be the week of September 14, 2015 Sunday night right after we got back to midland I started bleeding and I just assumed I would be fine, Monday I was still bleeding and started to have some pains martin took me to my Dr. in San Angelo when I walked through the door my water broke. After losing the baby and going through some tests my placenta had an infection and we aren’t sure how long it had been there but the new doctor said it was definitely preventable and should have watched me closer knowing I had called several times with pains and bleeding and leakage. I am not saying it is all the Doctors fault but at having a doctor that cares like I do now sure could have helped. I spent more time in the doctor’s office with my new doctor in one visit than I did in the 5 previous visits with Dr. Raja. Dr. Rajas staff is completely unprofessional. Please do not go to him and if you know of anyone in the Odessa or Midland area warn them about this doctor. Nothing is going to bring my baby back but knowing that this was preventable just makes me want to warn everyone so they don’t go through what I went through. Please choose wisely. If you ever feel uncomfortable change don’t be afraid and don’t let the doctor convince you that you are worrying too much.

Dr Raja was/is one of the best doctors I could ever have. After going into kidney failure he delivered my daughter which was 14 oz. Via c-section Without any injury to her. When I started hemorrhaging he ran test to see where it was coming from and when my staples didnt hold up in my c-section he went to my icu room and put stitches and told the nirse to call him if I had any other problems this was late at night like around midnight so I give him awesome ratings. He not only saved my daughters life (with God) but he also saved mine. Couldnt ask for a better doctor. He delivered all 4 of my kids.

This was the only doctor that took my insurance, so i had no choice but to go to him when i moved here. Switching doctors half way through pregnancy is stressful enough, then i had to deal with the rude and incompetent staff. It took three visits of me constantly reminding them to get my records from my old doctor. The front desk was rude. You can't have your children with you, you can't bring food or drinks in, not even water bottles. I had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes to be taken back. The nurses gave no direction on where to go or what to do. Then 15 to 20 minutes after waiting in the room Dr. Raja comes in and can barely be understood, then leaves. On the way out, you pay, but the girl had no idea what she's charging you or why and says to call so and so cause she's the only one that deals with insurance. Write down and keep track of your own appointment cause you will not get a reminder phone call.

The staff was extremely rude, they do not allow children even in the waiting room! The wait was over 2 hours, had to hurdle like cattle through different steps. Asked to sign paperwork stating that they could at their will submit my urine for drug testing and it would become part of my permanent medical record. When I questioned the reasoning I was told it was to see who was on depression drugs, pain pills, or pain management! No don't buy it. Then he came in calling me Momma this and that, never addressed me by name. Now wants to do a surgery that may not be needed, and seem far from his specialty. His staff is so busy being rude they cannot take care of people. And then everyone has a specific job. So this one does not know about insurance, and then this one did not know how to schedule appointments, and this one only does vitals. Ask more than a two part question and they are lost. Do not go, it is not worth your health.

I have had a terrible time with this doctor and the office staff. I had my yearly exam about six months ago. It was very rushed, but seemed acceptable efficient at the time. He prescribed me new birth control. I have had some serious issues with this birth control including sadness, mood swings, loss of libido, and ultimately depression.
I contacted the office five times in regards to this. Each time I was told someone would call me back and no one ever did. Finally, I had a nurse tell me that the doctor would not approve a different prescription.
Essentially, with no knowledge of my current condition DR. Raja refused my request. There was no reason given other than, how could I be sure these were side effects of my birth control. I will be seeking legal action.
