I'm a nurse and like to participate in decisions regarding my health care. Dr McGouran was willing to listen to me and to try some new things I had found in pub med. Can't say that about many doctors. Most doctors follow a protocol that's that. Thank goodness there are a few like Dr. McGouran!

I took my children to Dr. Mcgouran. He didn't really speak much and I never really ever recieved proper diagnosis. Instead he just wrote out a script without saying but 1 or 2 words. His diagnosis for each visit and child I took in was always allergies in which I would ALWAYS end up in the ER with my children hours after appt for infection or strep. (I changed doctors and have had no problems or second trips to a second dr in the same day since).

I just started going to Dr.McGouran in March and so far I like him.... I needed a scope done and he did it, where no other Doctors would do it they just keep putting it off .... Thank You Dr.McGouran

He is a wonderful doctor that really listens (no matter what you have to say). He treats me and my family with respect, compassion, and kindness.

Always been very caring, listens to your complaints and takes as much time as needed. When my MRI showed an rare and unusual diagnosis, he spent lots of time researching it. He then called me into his office for an unscheduled, free of charge visit. He took lots of time to explain it to me and presented me a stack of printouts from the internet with all the information I needed including support groups. I would highly recommend Dr. McGouran to anyone.
