He was my favorite! I wish I could still use him. He made me feel comfortable when I had to go to my appointments as a teen. He also did a fantastic job when my step mom was pregnant. She had alot of issues with her pregnancy and he was right there the whole time! We didn't have to see a different doctor everytime we went in to the office. It was always him!

He does uterine ablations because they are lucrative. He has left town by the time his patients have complications and need a hysterectomy. He has a great bedside manner but only cares about about profit.

Couldn't perform a full exam. I was literally too tense for an...invasive examination. He and his staff still charged full price for services. I called them about the bill, but the receptionist was extremely unhelpful and unempathetic. At the time, I was so embarrassed, and after the second visit with the same problem happening, I just stopped going back. I wasn't going to be ridiculed over this, or charged full price for something that didn't even happen.

I had a bad experience at this office. The nurse couldn't even look at me to ask a question that I had filled out on a new patient form a hr. Previous. After waiting over a hour she would not listen that I all ready had my prenatal done at my old dr. and the paper work hasn't got to there office first. She insisted they redo everything again. (My insurance only covers it once, all outta pocket after that) over all rude staff and the place was pretty rough in appearance and not up to date. Only switching dr.'s due to a recent move. I will travel instead of going to this office!

Dr. Ott, is an amazingly caring Dr. Probably one of the nicest Drs I’ve ever met. I recently suffered a miscarriage and he was so kind and compassionate during the process. When he told us the news I instantly started crying and he wouldn’t leave the room until he knew I was alright. And even with my follow up apt he stayed in the room with me and just talked to me for a good 20 mins- just checking in and seeing how my husband and I were doing. I can honestly say that I couldn’t imagine going through this difficult process with any other Dr. Ott. They are a very busy OB group so it is a waiting period to be seen- but you’re in the best care.

Have seen Dr. Ott since he took over this practice. I have had positive experiences here. It is to be expected that an obstetrician might have to deliver a baby or might have to take care of other emergencies.

I started going to Women's Health of Western PA only a few months ago. I was told about them from a friend of mine. What I like most so far is how very nice the staff is. They also take time to answer all my questions.

I have never felt more comfortable or confident in a Dr. before. Dr. Ott is very compassionate and caring. I trusted him completely with all of my pregnancies. He was wonderful when I had a miscarriage. He provided me with his cell number to call if I needed anything. He treated my husband and I like people and not just a number. I believe if it wasn't for him, my first pregnancy would have gone horribly wrong and I was able to avoid any unnecessary procedures during my miscarriage. My husband liked that he was included in the pregnancies and not ignored. He felt free to ask questions and voice his concerns. When my last baby spent time in the NICU (unnecassarily) after my c-section, he gave me an extra day before he discharged me so that I could be released the same day as my baby. Dr. Ott is a great doctor, in my opinion. I will continue to trust himeith my care.

Nice@first,tho he rolled his eyes coz I take estroven. he didn't listen & didn't take a good history b/c he was distracted by laptop.I waited 3 wks to see him again & I should've asked to be switched to one of the other dr's.I wanted to leave but I waited 1 & 1/2 hrs & he came in & said he didn't have time for me b/c he had to go deliver a baby, could I stay? No.I stood up & he sat down w/the laptop. Mixed messages! I said you don't have time just give me my test results. He jumped up, pushed his stool back & said I guess I don't have time for u.I was taken aback & we sat back down.He said he wanted to do a procedure I'd already had done.he argued w/me-when? where? by whom? he wanted to be right & was on the laptop.I said, give me my results & I'll go.He said u had ur turn to talk now let me say something.he said he was doing me a favor, still looking at the laptop.I said I'm paying u.He refunded my copay. I left there in a haze wondering if I had been punked.
