This man is incredibly knowledgeable and does not rush his appointments. He treats the Lyme patient from head to toe. I have no doubt he saved my life. His office is run professionally, patiently and with the patients’ best interest.

I have been seeing Dr. Moayad for 8 1/2 years. I know without him I would either be dead or dying a slow and painful death. Having seen hundreds of Dr's since I was a child and no clear diagnosis - I finally was referred to him by a pain management Dr. I am so grateful for the day I met him. He discovered my Lyme and many co-infections. Slowly, but surely I have a much better quality of life. As other people have stated - let him run his tests. It is worth it to find the root cause and have a treatment plan. Dr. Moayad is patient, kind and understanding. I have come to his office many times in crisis and he spends so much time helping me calm down. I have had many bad reactions to the typical Lyme treatments and he has never given up on me (when other Dr's have - it is so harsh to have a Dr. tell you I can no longer treat you). We just try another treatment and he lets me listen to my body to decide my dosing. Together we are winning the battle. I no longer need a wheelchair for long distances and I have a renewed zest for life. He is a truly caring person and a wonderful Dr.

If it were not for Dr. Moayad, I'm not sure if I would be here today. Not only did he save my husbands life but mine also. My husband had had a stroke and was sent to Dr. Moayad by his physician. When Dr. Moayad wanted my husband and I to a lymes foundation physician, which a t the time would have cost us 300.00 which we did not have , he made sure we got the appointment. He has treated me since 1996. I have not had to see him in several years due to his skills. I lost my husband ten years ago this November and the day I told Dr Moayad he cried with me. Thank you Dr. Moayad for your caring and great mind. Cathy Orsbun. The Colony texas.

It was only after many years of search for solution for extremely difficult medical condition and visits to nation’s most celebrated authorities we came to see Dr. Moayad. I will not be repeating all the positive feedbacks left by other patients – I absolutely agree with each and every one of them. Dr. Moayad is astonishing diagnostician that sees things that other physicians miss. He listens to you and spends time with you – he spent over three hours of his time during my last appointment! In response to some of the feedbacks on this site about Dr. Moayad running a lot of unnecessary costly tests, I will just say if Dr. Moayad recommends you to run a test – do yourself a favor and run the test. For us personally Dr. Moayad’s tests revealed things that have been missed by years of previous blood work. In conclusion all I can say is that Dr. Moayad is the most talented physician I have ever seen, and one of the best human beings I have met. In my personal opinion this man is God sent.

I am an immunologist and can understand the biology behind Bb and the various treatments and diagnostic testing. He is extremely educated and Lyme and all treatments. He is very compassionate and understanding. He has studied Bb for over 20 yrs and is a colleague of the country's best LLMD's. I am so lucky to have found this man who has saved my life.

Dr. Moayad is the finest Lyme Literate Neurologist in the state of Texas. He asks questions. He listens. He speaks. He informs. He does not have time for BS. He looks you in the eye. He runs extensive testing to get to the bottom of all issues. He never runs tests that are uneccesary. His methodoligy transends Eastern and Western medicine. He is a man of character and humor. I respect him. He has saved countless people from unknown certainty. If all physicians practiced in his footsteps, the world would be a better place. I don't kiss anyone's ass but this guy. I mean it. His staff is as curetous and knowledgable as he is. They should all be held accountable as saints of the earth. Sincerely & With High Regards, Andrew Nelson

I am the real daughter of the patients mentioned in the 08-2011 review,i do not know who made that comment but it is absolutely FALSE!!!! Dr. Moayad has treated my family with nothing but respect,if we thought he was a bad Dr. we would not have continued to see him!! he is the ONLY dr that i trust to care for my parents & has saved both of their lives on several different occassions!! whoever made that review is not in any way connected with us,nor has the proper knowledge to be making any type of statement in reference to the care we receive from Dr. Moayad! so i apologize for the confusion & again,THAT REVIEW IS NOT CORRECT it is absolutely FALSE!! Dr.Moayad is without a doubt one of the kindest, most knowledgable Dr.s that we have had the pleasure of seeing!

I saw Dr. Moayad for 6 months and after my last visit in March of 2011, I decided to stop seeing him. He was rude, arrogant, told me to shut up on many, many occasions, used profanity, insinuated that my husband must be cheating on me due to the outcome of some of my tests. He used inappropriate behavior during my last visit which made me feel VERY uncomfortable. I've spent up to 5 hours in his office during a visit (from the time I arrived until the time I checked out). He has a wonderful staff which I truly loved and enjoyed seeing each month. I will say in his defense that he is very knowledgeable when it comes to Lyme disease and that is why I went to him for so long and put up with all of his craziness. If you are a female, take someone with you to your visits and insist that they be allowed to join you in the exam room.

One of the greatest medical people ever. He took me from a cripple to an active energetic man. He had to gamble everything treating me for long term chronic Lymes. I am forever greatful
