I had upper/lower eyelid blepharoplasty with lower lid laser skin resurfacing.
Everyone in the office is very professional and friendly. They are very prompt with your appointments, no unnecessary waiting. I just had my last follow up appointment yesterday and I am completely amazed and happy with results. The took the final picture and placed it next to the before picture and Iwas surprised how much of a difference there was. It was hard for me to honestly see it because I have been dealing with being told how tired I look, how unattractive look and how angry I look due to the circles under my eyes since I was 15. I am 61 now so my brain is so conditioned to believe I ook a certain way. Recovery was not bad and Dr Brackup and the staff were always available if I had any questions or needed to see them. Highly recommend. Also, they are truthful with you about the results you can expect based on you, your skin, your circumstances and expectations.

I just got back from my 1 week post-op appointment at Dr Brackup's office. I can't even begin to express how amazing my experience was. I am so pleasesed with the results so far even though it'll be a while until I see the final results. From the time I made my first call until today the staff has been friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I searched for months before I found Dr Brackup and so glad I found him. He is an expert in his field with a wonderful demeanor who makes you feel so comfortable. He was well worth
the 2 1/2 hour drive to see him . In my opinion he'd be worth any drive. If you're considering any face work you'd be missing out not speak to Dr Brackup.

I am so happy with the work Dr Brackup did on my face and neck . The wonderful reputation he has is well deserved. The staff in surgery and in the office were also top notch ,and answered all my questions with care and knowledge.

I began looking into facelift surgery in February. At first, and because of the advice of a friend who works in a plastic surgeon’s office, I booked consultations only with those doctors who were Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. Then when I asked my dermatologist for advice, she said that that the particular certification was much less important than experience with the specific procedure I wanted. She explained that the best surgeon was the one who had done the procedure hundreds of times and who had verifiable reviews. Being operated on by somebody who has seen every anomaly made sense and I eventually concluded that what I wanted was a surgeon who only performed facial surgery. I also decided that I did not want to have general anesthesia because of potential complications.

In all, I met with six highly regarded surgeons and I liked and respected all of them. Eventually, I chose Dr. Alan Brackup who has three board certifications and a very impressive educational background (Stanford) along with forty verified five star reviews on Realself. When I went to the initial consultation, I was pleased to learn that Dr. Brackup had worked consistently with the same group of people for many years. His surgeries are performed at Saint Mary Medical Center and I also found that this hospital had excellent reviews. I expressed my fear that my results would in some way look unnatural. Dr. Brackup explained in some detail why this would not happen to me.

On the morning of the surgery, I was greeted by Dr. Brackup’s team. I was sedated with twilight anesthesia and it was very effective - I do not remember anything. I only took the prescribed pain medication for the first three days and then switched to Tylenol.

I am now three months post and I am very grateful and happy with my results. The look is completely natural. I still experience slight numbness and tingling occasionally. I mention this because it is a normal part of the healing process. The suture lines around my ears are nearly invisible already and I can confidently wear my hair up.

I wanted to add that in addition to being very happy with my results, I was also pleased with Dr. Brackup and his staff during the healing process which included suture removal and checkups.

Best plastic surgeon ever! He totally changed my life by doing hair replacement surgery on me. He and his staff were awesome. Scheduling easy. Returned all phone calls. Made me feel comfortable with the whole procedure and recovery.

After thoroughly researching and visiting a number of different plastic surgeons I recently had my first cosmetic procedure with Doctor Alan Brackup.

During my initial consultation Dr. Brackup spoke about the area I wanted to improve. He gave me three different options, taking time to explain the procedures and walk me through the process of each.

As this was my first elective surgery I had many questions. Dr Brackup and his staff were responsive and accommodating. Going into my surgery I felt totally comfortable.

I had my surgery a little over six weeks ago and I could not be happier with the level of care.

A face lift is costly surgery, but Dr. Brackup is an expert and an artist, and I don't regret a penny spent for his October 2019 work. He and his assistant Stacy prepared me well for the pain and slow recovery to come--though neither was as bad as they could have been. I followed up the surgery about six weeks later with injections to address forehead lines, crow's feet and some other areas not touched by the surgery. Recently, one work colleague--unaware of the surgery--stood at my desk for several minutes raving over how healthy, younger and happy I look. Another colleague stopped me on a staircase to praise my rejuvenated appearance. More important, I feel better. Moving forward in my sixties, I know I have taken what steps I could to reduce the effects of aging on my face, and bring my appearance more in line with the physically fit and trim person I long have been. There is the ongoing cost of injections, to be sure. Unquestionably, I feel quite fortunate to have met Dr. Brackup!

Cosmetic surgery is not only a process of intellectual pros and cons, it presents a SIGNIFICANT emotional component that should be addressed, reviewed and supported throughout a consultation. Dr. Brackup and Michele were thoughtful and thorough in discussing (and observing) my emotional concerns.
Their authenticity and engagement in assuring me that whatever I decided to do would be in my best interest in that my comfort level was paramount to a successful surgery.

I absolutely love Dr Alan Brackup. I had Eyelid surgery done and he made the whole experience pleasant! His warmth as to putting you at ease is wonderful, the results were great! When wrinkles under my eyes made me look so tired, his procedure took them completely away which made me feel wonderful! His staff st his office and at the hospital we’re all so awesome! I would highly recommend Dr Alan Brackup for any cosmetic surgery!
