Did not discuss crown materials with me. I use porcelain due to sensitivity. Bad crown margins so he drilled my top previous molar restoration to fit his crown. Previous restoration broke off, crown he used broke, (other dentist didn’t know what the material was that he used). Now both back molars had to be extracted. Terrible!!!

I just read the review about the bad crown, abscess and losing the tooth submitted here July 3, 2015...Dr. Pickard did a root canal on two of my teeth a year ago and I have had an abscess going on for the entire year. I went back to him last week and he lanced the abscess, something he had never done the many other times and he did it without deadening it, was jabbing around the abscess, which was absolute torture, until he loosened the cap on one of the teeth and now he's telling me he may have to pull the tooth!!!! The xrays clearly show the infection from the bad root canal, the medical college said he should have gone deeper but he refuses to do it correctly. I'm terrified after reading this review seeing that someone else has gone through the same thing I'm going through now!

I moved to McDuffie County in the mid 90's and both my children's and my fillings came out. Plus he damaged my front teeth, and did a bad crown which caused me to have an abscess some years later and I lost the tooth. my current dentest questioned his ability to practice, because it was such a bad job. The only thing I found his office is good at is cleaning teeth. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

This use to be a nice office, but all the old staff and manager have left. It was a complete disaster, Dr P really needs a reality check. Never again!!!!!
