I was hoping this Dr was no longer practicing. I started going to Dr Russ in I believe 2013. I decided to start going to Dr Russ because of my addiction to pain pills and wanted to go on suboxone. The first time I saw him I was so glad that I finally found a Dr who took their time to listen to me and not just push medications at me. Well, by the 2nd appointment he had me on Suboxone, high MG of xanax and anothermedication that I forgot what it was called.
I ended up getting pregnant in 2015 and when I told Dr Russ he kept me on the same medication because withdrawaling from them could cause me to lose the baby. I trusted him as my Dr and continued taking my medication. My baby boy was born and was in the Nicu for 2 weeks based on him withdrawaling. It was so bad that he had to go to children's hospital and was there for 2 and a half months to get thru the withdrawals. Luckily I was able to bring him home in Dec and I immediately found a new Dr that has helped me get off of some of the meds Dr Russ put me on and lowering the suboxone and xanax to a safer dose.
Please do your research before seeing Dr Russ. He is a drug dealer wearing a drs uniform. And he knows what he is doing because he would ask his patients if he could video them talking about their addiction and how much Dr Russ has helped them. Smh he should be locked up

I dated him for one miserable week and I was told a story of how the govt. was out to get him. I went into his bathroom and there were vials of pills everywhere. He’s basically what I think is a drug addict who plays the victim. He also did nothing but talk about himself... non stop and how great a shrink he is. He’s a despicable excuse for a human being.

“Dr. Russ” came highly recommended. But once I saw him I understood why!!! He is a pill pusher of the worst kind. If you do your own research you will find he has been sued in the past for similar issues and even lost his license to practice medicine for 10 years due to his personal drug use. Be ware of Dr. Russ!!!

Honest to God, I don’t know how this place remains open between the drug dealer, oh I meant Dr. Ferstandig, prescribing every medicine under the sun with no forethought or understanding, in combination with his moronic, rude and incapable secretary who literally does nothing but argue with patients and escalates issues far beyond the point they should go. This place is a disaster and shouldn’t even be considered a medical facility. Doctor should lose his license and secretary needs to go crawl under the disgusting rock that she climbed out of to get this job. Both of these people are horrible people- but combined, leads to a tumultuous disaster. Please do not waste your time here.

This drug pusher was mostly to blame for the death of my son. He will give you whatever you want even without seeing you! Just call the receptionist, text here a pic of your credit card and you can get a script. He will give you both Suboxone and opioids, Xanax and Adderal, literally whatever you want. My son went only for Suboxone, which saved his life but the rest were just offered so you would like this man. Dr Ferstandig needed to achieve self-respect by being the guy everyone went to for drugs. My son was never anxious depressed or in pain nor did he have hyperactive, but Dr F prescribed treatment for all of these to my son and all his friends. Why does he keep getting his license back. This is disgusting!

Dr. Russell Ferstandig is amazing. I truly believe the majority of people leaving negative comments are the same recovering drug addicts who stink of cigarettes that I have to share the waiting room with and are, in fact, the reason why I even have to wait at all. If I could count how many times I hear a patient speaking to the doctor or receptionist stating "I overslept and missed my appointment so I'm late" shortly followed up by something along the lines of "Even though I am the one that missed my appointment, showed up late, and am now causing those who do show up on time to wait, I expect to be seen right away because here I am standing here right now and I have somewhere else to be." How convenient. Personally, I don't see Dr. Ferstandig for addiction issues. However, I notice that a lot of his patients do. It's not hard to tell. Rude, uneducated, poorly dressed, reek of cigarettes, loud, and usually missing a few teeth. His patients are outright SELFISH. They come waltzing in late demanding the world and swear they have somewhere important to be and absolutely have to go yet the only place they are properly dressed for is bed. Meanwhile, I have actually taken the time off from my full-time job and legitimately do have somewhere important to be, yet here I am with no complaints about the doctor or receptionist. Dr. Ferstandig is outstanding, it's his patients that suck. To the patients complaining -- Don't blame your lack of responsibility and sense of entitlement on the doctor. You should probably take some time for self-evaluation and I'm sure you will discover the root cause of your various complexes all boils down to your drug abuse and that you are still very much a recovering drug addict who is selfish and hateful enough to write a nasty review on the internet just because you didn't get what you wanted exactly when you wanted it. While I understand that you may have had other people in your life enable this behavior, you certainly need to grow up and not expect it of anyone else, especially in the professional world. You will be lucky to find someone who cares. Dr. Russ is one of those people that actually does care. I could not do his job for one hour. There is no way I would have the compassion and empathy that he does. People who burden contributing members of society don't get to complain. Rant over.

i thought my problem was only with the b*tch receptionist until now at 2 am because i just had to go to a 24 hour pharmacy to pick up an emergency refill because my “doctor” failed to do so after calling MULTIPLE times and the pharmacist calling him everyday of the week. i told the pharmacist a little about the situation with him ignoring calls and he told me “look him up on google” and here i am. i never want to step foot in that office again after ready all that i have read. the man kept giving me refills on adderal when i told him multiple times i rarely ever take it (i have three full bottles of adderal sitting on my counter). the receptionist is a stupid b*tch. i don’t know who’s more unprofessional him or her. i hope this place gets shut down
