Well . . .it's been almost 23 months since I entrusted my wife's health to Mr. Cleary (disrespect intended) & associates (UGH!! Conti, Helprin (who took 1 1/2 days to actually see my wife ('cause 'the twins were visiting) after her admittance to EMC from the ER) et al) and, unfortunately, Catherine died 5 months after he took over her care. Actually, he NEVER did anything to help or inform (nor did his associates, in particular his scheduler Jocelyn (sp? who hung up on me when I was trying to schedule an appointment for my wife after her FIFTH (of 9) release from Eisenhower Medical Center (another place to stay away from-ask your neighbors, I'm not kidding) and if there are ever people who violated their Hippocratic Oath its Brian Cleary and the turds he associates with. PLease, please go outside the Coachella Valley for treatment because Brian Cleary et al will just max out your insurance and let you or your loved one die. Just remember there are C- D+ students in every school (medical or otherwise) and these guys are proof.
Doc-please sue me for this review I welcome a chance to sit in a witness chair and tell the world what a turd you are!

Dr Cleary is a sweet old man until you challenge him in any way. During my treatment for Hep C I had some serious psychological side affects. The nursing staff and office manager ganged up on me saying it wasn't from the drug,. When I finally did see Dr. Cleary he was angry at me and told me I should quit the treatment . I only had two weeks left. I asked if there was anything he could do to help me. He answered"Absolutely Not!"Compassion? Empathy? Forget about it!

Worst doctor I have been too. Horrible bedside manner. I was aware of pain during the entire colonoscopy because he is clueless about anesthesia, sedation and pain control and would not admit his mistake. It was terrifying. I screamed out in pain 8 times during the procedure and he did not stop until I screamed "Pull that f*cking tube out now" you basta*d. He would just push more Versed thinking I would not remember the pain. But I remember every second of it. It was horrible. I will never trust another doctor again and I will never have another colonoscopy again.

After my wife was hospitalized for the 8th time we sought a hospital advised appointment with cleary and he put her off for 6-8 weeks when we all knew she's be dead in 6-8 weeks without remedial action. I demanded an appointment that week and his appointment person, Jacquiln (sp?) "we'll put your wife on the cancellation list" and hung up when I became insistent. What a truly uncaring group of doctors is the Eisenhower Gastro/Intestinal group (which includes Dr. Conti)
STAY AWAY FROM EISENHOWER MEDICAL CENTER IF YOU HAVE GI PROBLEMS!!!!

Excellent Excellent Excellent. From his most efficent Receptionist to Dr. Clearys professional manner I can only say I am very happy that I was refered to Dr. Cleary after spending 5 days in Desert Regional Hospital and being discharged with a Diagnosis of Portal Vein Thrombosis and Hepatic Encephalopathy. Being a Canadian Snowbird here for 6 months and experiencing the "American Health Care System" for the first time I must say I am comforted knowing I am been looked after by Dr. Cleary. I am confident he will get me back on my feet and I will be able to enjoy the next few months of my stay in Palm Springs. L. Hamilton

I can't say enough about both Dr. Cleary and Deidria, his receptionist. He's extremely knowledgeable, knows how to explain things in a way that's easy to understand yet doesn't talk down to me and spends as much time with me as needed. I don't walk out feeling like I was hustled out the door. Deidria can multi-task like no one I've ever seen and no matter how much she's doing at one time, she always seems perfectly in control, never appearing the least bit flustered. Having had an intestinal disease for over 30 years and moving to a new city every few years, I know how very fortunate I am to have found such an excellent doctor.
