The only reason I could see that would make such a change in Dr Szames is because he did and may still suffer from a very bad back. I and my family used him for years, then I moved to fla and am backand plan on being his patient again if he is taking patients. I too suffer from very bad back pain, of which I can not have surgery on which Would give me much relief. He always has been a caring doctor, so give him a break

I had to sit & wait til noon before he seen me just to reschedule another appt when all I was wanting was my nails cut. I was walking out at 12:10. My appt was scheduled at 10:45 and I arrived at 10:30. Both doctor and staff lie to you in order to get you out of there because of their horrible scheduling. I am not happy with my visit at all and no way would I ever recommend this location to anyone since they dont respect you or your time.

Szames took over MANY medical files from Dr Leonard Janis DPM a couple of yrs ago, when he closed his business. I was assured at that time I could request my files. 1 1/2 yrs. later, Szames still WILL NOT release them to me. NO REASON, NO RYHME!!! He REFUSES to take or return phone calls or correspond to letters (CERTIFIED, even)! If I was informed by Dr. Janis, that he was closing his office, I would have had NO PROBLEM having them in MY file cabinet.
So NO, I cannot give a good rating to this guy, because he has NO ETHICS!!!

I see his past ratings and I don't know whether I caught him on a bad day or maybe because the last rating was two years ago. I waited over an hour to be seen, he was no help at all with my feet pain, his xray machine wasn't working right and I later found out I have bilateral heel spurs, tarsal tunnel and plantar fascitis. His staff was very friendly, for a grumpy old man.

Dr. Szames is an angel!!! I had a very bad experience at another podiatrists office and he is the best Doctor I have been to since I have lived in this area! Very nice, very caring (which was so refreshing considering the care I received from the other. The staff was knowledgeable and able to immediately answer questions when I called instead of returning my call. I am SO glad I went to him and I will not go anywhere else from now on. After bad experience with other place, I felt I deserved the best, and I definitely got the best here. He is AWESOME!! =)

Dr. Szames is excellent. I have seem for problems. 3 different times in the last 10 years. My high school daughter saw him this year . Each time he knew exactly how to help us. He is also very skilled with his hands. The staff is also friendly.

I swear by Dr. Szames. After spending 8 months and a lot of money, with a lot of different doctors Dr. Szames did not quit until he pin pointed my specific issue. After 8 months of pain I decided to go to doctor Szames because my foot was swollen. When I left his office I had no more pain. He is knowledgable and took his time (after nothing showed of on the xray, to pin point my problem. I highly recommend him and his staff. CDugger

Dr. Szames has been my podiatrist forover ten years and does a terrific job. Since I am a diabetic I see him on a regular schedule and would recommend him to anyone needing foot care he is the best.
