The office staff is awful. Rude, abrupt, and didn't give me the confidence that they knew what they were doing. I was there for over 2 hours as were other patients in the waiting room. We all had scheduled appointments and were on time. Be prepared to wait. That being said, Dr. Shipman was helpful, thorough, polite, patient, direct, informative and generally I had a pleasant experience with her. I would rate her as an good doctor and I would return to see her.

Dr. Shipman forced extra appointments on me and after giving me a prescription, would not honor it, saying I had to go back to see her, to confirm it. She was not my regular Dr. from that eye center; I verbally spoke to receptionist on phone, stating my contacts were fine--same brand, just new prescription. Was not allowed to order contacts until I went in again. She was pushy.
