Dr Schroeders attempt to repair my hammertoe was a complete failure. It has been six months since the date of my surgery and the condition of my toe is far worse than it was pre-surgery. I’ve traded a hammertoe for a badly deformed toe number 2 that rides over the top of toe number 3 causing great pain whenever and where ever I walk. I am also left with a piece the K-wire lodged partially in bone and partially in flesh that broke off during removal.
