Dr. Wilson was nowhere to be found after my husband was prepped for surgery. Seems he was interviewing fellows for the next year and surgical staff didn't get the word. The catheter was taken out after 6 days, although we had been told it would be about 2 weeks. My husband's bladder spasmed, 7 1/2 weeks and many sleepless nights later, for both of us, the catheter came out for good. They would have sent my husband home the day after his surgery, to keep their statistics up for fundraising, if they hadn't been feeding him glucose and insulin and screwed up his blood sugar!!
