I went to Dr.Zia a few years ago. I mostly spoke to both the doctor and Max the therapist. I became uncomfortable very quickly. I also posted on vitals read my review. My brother now works for dignity health. Same system. Read allow yourself to articulate and put two and two together. The whole system should be shut down. They gave there patients cigarettes in the mental health hospital and put every body on the same medication. I Cried the first time for 10 days strait I went in 7 times. I remember seeing this poor girl my heart absolutely goes out to her. She was in the mental hospital for a month. Poor thing didn't even smoke. After she left, she was addicted to cigarettes. I hope people out there can find the strength and courage to come forward.

Dr. Zia is nice enough and I believe he wants to help. However, the reason I stopped seeing him was because I was not happy with my results and he had me taking two different medications, one of which is known to be habit forming. I told him wanted to switch to a new medication and wean off of the one that is habit forming. He told me he didn't want to rock the boat and wanted to keep me on both meds. And he did this knowing I wanted to have another child in the future, and one of the meds is a big no no during pregnancy! I switched to a new doc since and I am just taking one medication now and feel fabulous! I just had to be my own advocate and find a better fit for me.

Dr. Zia treats patients in a group setting. Other patients were telling me to just say I was "o.k." so the Dr. would just give my meds. I had an adverse reaction to a med and Dr. Zia told me to take three times as much of the same med! I am not a fan of group therapy, especially with my type of issues, and am not the type of person going to the Dr. just for drugs. I do not recommend Dr. Zia. I stopped going to him after the incident and found a much better Dr. for my treatment.
