I have gone to Dr. Khan for many years. He is a kind and thoughtful man, and almost always a good listener. He almost always considers your opinion and input when making medical decisions. However, I recently had a problem with my son's meds. (He is also a patient). A med wasn't called in, and I did give plenty of notice. (I should add that this is NOT the norm. They are normally excellent). For some reason, though, it didn't get called in. I understand that even the best offices can make errors. However, when I tried to reach the emergency after hours system, the system was out of service or not working correctly. (Not sure what the problem was). At any rate, our son has now gone three nights without his meds and because his medical condition is severe, he is not doing well. As wonderful as this office is, if it happens again, I will have to go somewhere else.

I went to Dr Shanoor Khan for a total of 5 appointments. My reason for going that many times?I had no other choice. The second I walked in, his receptionist couldn't have Been more rude and snotty. Dr Khan? Totally rude, cold and Treated me like I was less than human.I am a very nice, loving, friendly and courteous person.Never have I been treated so horribly By a doctor and his staff!I am in total shock! As for his patients In the waiting room? There was always someone complaining About one thing or the other regarding this place of business. Called my insurance company and apparently they/I've been over- Charged as well! My last appt was most def my last after my discovery With insurance company. I will gladly travel 70 minutes to a Better doctor! Beware of Eastern panhandle psychiatry! Be sure To get the services you pay for as well!!! I'm still in shock!

The wait is always long. The doctor for gets who you are and does not know how to use the computer. I have had problems with getting the meds I need. The office staff is rude and you have to pay before you see the doctor.
