Complete lack of concern for patients- 0 follow up!! My wife had colonoscopy 4 weeks ago, he prescribed medicine, it wasn’t working by week 3 my wife had a response. She called to discuss with Dr. Goldstien and left message on monday- Friday a nurse calls and say she’ll let the Dr know. Last night my wife's condition worsened We went to Patient First who immediately sent us to ER. She had fever and lesions all over her body. She’s sitting in hospital currently and they are trying to figure out what her issue is. Patient First has since called to check on my wife after yesterday’s meeting. Still nothing from Dr. Goldstien’s practice or concern from him or ever- “you should go to ER”. Sad!

Dr. Goldstein has outstanding bedside manner, is thorough, and takes time getting to know his patients history. He's been my mothers doctor for several years following her colon resection due to colon cancer. When my primary doctor suggested it was time for my colonoscopy, I was really nervous about it. Dr. Goldstein answered my questions, was very informative and he put me at ease. I did have my colonoscopy last week and all is well. His office is clean, his staff is efficient, and I will recommend him to everyone.

Thank you Dr. Goldstein. You treat me just like family and I have brought my parents and sister to see you too. You are our favorite doctor.

I came to Dr. Goldstein after having problems for a year. He was so patient with me and for the first time, someone really listened to me. I feel better already just knowing that he is taking over my case.

Dr. Goldstein is the epitome of everything that is wrong with our health care system. Besides having a horrible bedside manner--if you have a gastrointestinal issue he will try to waste your time with psychoanalysis and asks incredibly awkward questions--he makes you feel like a number. I have seen Dr. Goldstein 3 times this month and he is still clueless as to my medical problem and history. You'll wait at least 45 minutes to even see him and then he speaks to you for 5 min, during which time he does not answer any questions or explain your medical condition/diagnosis. He prescribed a drug that is not only known to exacerbate my preexisting symptoms but is also expressly never is to be used by someone with bone-wasting disease, which I verbally had told him about & wrote about on my forms. He neither seems knowledgable nor prepared for appointments- he wastes your time because he/his staff forget to obtain outsourced lab work or medical records prior to your visit.

First and foremost, Dr. Goldstein is a nice man. But, he was very inattentive to my condition and didn't inform me of negative diagnostic results for 3 weeks. He appeared to have little engagement or interest in my health and I've lost 40 pounds (not intentionally!) and am still deteriorating. Additionally, I believe his staff, although polite, is incompetent. They failed to provide my insurance company with information needed to authorize my diagnostic testing - on more than one occasion and for more than one test! My insurance company told me that they repeatedly called his office and never got a response. In the end, I had to go pick up my records and send them to the insurance company myself - they were willing to accept them from me because they recognized the seriousness of my condition from other results they had received and were totally frustrated with Dr. Goldstein's staff. I am now seeing another doctor and would never recommend his practice!

Office staff superb!Anesthesiologist kept repeating "We're going to take good care of you". I was taken back on time but woke to a horrible sore throat, no voice and coughing. I told the nurse my throat was killing me, she asked if I came in with a cold. NO, I was fine when I came in! I let Dr. Goldstein know and was told I coughed and gagged during the procedure (like it was no big deal). I was rushed out of there, still coughing and gagging. The next morning, I had a rash & still no voice. I spoke with the Physican's Asst. (very helpful). She suggested an x-ray and I ended up having asperation pneumonia! I will never go to this practice again & feel I should have been more informed before being rushed out. Horrible first experience.
