This was an initial consult. No option for in person visit was offered, was not given option for video visit either. Don't understand how he can make assessment with a simple phone call, but he did. He may be knowledgeable, but he came across as very judgemental and has an interesting approach. He questioned me on whether I practiced my religion in a way that did not contribute to the discussion and then came to a quick conclusion about my diagnosis with the plan to start medication right away. My review is simply to encourage you to question all. I have become aware of some of his beliefs, in particular with relation to LGTBQ people and worry that he cannot separate his beliefs from his advice/assessments. I felt that way with his questions about my religion and my realization he practices the same faith, but much more conservatively. Unfortunately, I will have to seek out a new doctor to provide the care that I need. Please be cautious.

He helped with my daughter's problem, and improved/healed our mother daughter relationship. He's careful with the medicine and listened to my concern as parent.

Odd seeing some of these negative reviews on him. I'm on Adderall for ADHD and he told me about how to journal and work on things to get better with focus an all. He's a bit pushy but reasonable. We work well together because I see that he actually talks to me, unlike a lot of the other people I've seen. Those MDs just filled my meds in 2 mintues. Duk actually listens and teaches and gives lots of good examples. We've been dropping my doses for a whlie now. All this time I was told I wa sa bad kid and needed these meds but no one taught me how to do better. And that's why I like Duk. He cares. But it's a tough love sort of thing so I an see why someone coudl not like him.

I have a long history with the psych hospitals, from family members, to my own admissions, to having friends who are bipolar. I've been to a lot of psychiatrists. Dr. Duk is incredible. He really cares. I cant believe im even writting this review...if you are reading this...trust me...this doctor is different. I never write reviews positive reviews because every psychiatrist I ever met just rote meds.

Always the best care from him. Emails are his way to keep in touch and he is very prompt. He asks a lot of questions to get to know me ---- few of my prior psych did that . I referred a few church and family members to him too

Staff is difficult. I had to wait a month after my appointment. My mental health issues are brushed aside by telling me I'm just a weak person and I need to man up basically. I've been seeing this doctor for almost 1.5 years now and it appears he just doesn't care or gets my situation. It makes me even more depressed. People should know not to come here, you're wasting money if you do.
