Never had an unpleasant experience in the 16 years I've been a patient with Dr. August. The staff is always friendly and has gone out of their way to help in the few emergency situations I've had over this time. I would highly recommend Dr. August for anyone who needs a family dentist.

I went to Dr. August for 2 years while I lived in the Gaitherburg area and always had a very positive experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the doctor did a great job with all of my dental work.

Contrary to the previous report, Dr. August and his staff were always terrific to deal with. In fact, my daughter started seeing Dr. August when she was around 4 years old and because of him and his staff, she has always liked going to the dentist...I'll bet most parents can't say that about their kids! He helped my daughter in an emergency situation by waiting for us well after hours. I had several procedures, my daughter did also. We've relocated out of state and are very sad to have left this practice. Don't be fooled by one person's experience!

This dentist filled my cavity in a way hard to floss, the teeth adjacent to it got pretty bad cavity in a year. Told my husband not to worry about the insurance, and then charged my husband thousands of dollars without sending the estimation to the insurance before hand. When I ask the mean and cold receptionist the x-ray so I can switch to other dentist, she wanted to charge me $25. This dentist is bad technically and morally, definitely not recommended. For your own good, don’t visit this dentist.
