I had a rapid growing squamous cell carcinoma on my upper lip. In 2 weeks it grew very quickly, and i was scared.
Not only did the staff move my MOHS surgery up 10 days, which meant so much to me, but the job doc did was absolutely amazing. I am only 2 weeks out, but so far I am extremely pleased. This has been a very sobering and humbling experience. But i am so glad Dr Prather was the dr responsible for my care. Eternally grateful.

I have been going to Dr Prather for 10+ years. In that time I have had 9 mohs surgeries, 7 of which were done by Dr Prather. His work is amazing, very little scaring. I would not go to any other surgeon when removing skin cancers from my face region. I have always been very pleased with him and his staff.

Dr. Prather and Piper, along with his excellent nursing staff did a great job. I had to have a major surgery performed on my face to remove skin cancer with some reconstruction. The surgery was long but that was because the testing takes 45-60 each time. To ensure that they get all the cancer, it takes longer. They explained what was happening during each step of the way. Because of my previous scar tissue, the shots were extremely painful. My nurse stayed with me during her lunch break. I would recommend them to everyone and have.

I would like to compliment Dr. Prather and his staff. They were very courteous, compassionate, accommodating and professional. Dr. Prather and his staff were extremely efficient throughout the entire procedure. They answered all of my questions, told me how to care for my skin after surgery. The staff at the front desk and exit desk were very helpful and extremely polite. I remember that "Lisa" was at the front desk. I would like to compliment her. Dr. Prather was very gentle, patient with me and my many questions. I am very satisfied with my incision and the healing process thus far. I feel sure that it will heal properly. I would recommend Dr. Prather and his staff to my family and friends. Than You!

After 2 hours I was told I would be another 45 minute which I understood, 2 and 1/2 hours later I was finally told they were finished. I was never given a explanation of what was taking place or why it was taking so long except that I need more stitches. Thanks for the explanation!! When the nurse practitioner was in the room and I was so uncomfortable in this chair/bed contraption they had me in I ask for a pillow to support my back. Evidently my comfort is definitely not one of their goals, because she told the assisting nurse trainee to bring me a blanket instead. " We'll just roll that up". Then the assisting nurse must have been really tired because she had to rest her arm on my head to support her arm holding the forceps. Gee, I hope she wasn't too uncomfortable!!!! I sure my head must have helped with her discomfort because it hurt the hell out of me. Will not ever use this DOCTOR again. This is only a few of the things that went wrong with the appointment, but the most obvious .

The doctor was nice, but terrible front office staff. They were rude and unprofessional, and could hear the supposed office manager shouting rudely on a telephone conversation with the door wide open. Poor tact....and will likely cause me to seek treatment elsewhere.
