I saw Dr. Walz in 2010. I was given a top and bottom appliance for my TMJ. After about 2 years of dealing with my problems getting worse and wearing this appliance that was extremely expensive and very uncomfortable, I just stopped seeing him. He NEVER listened to my complaints and he would tell me my bite was fine and the appliance was doing its job. I would leave the office feeling worse than the time before. Do to his lack of knowledge about how the jaw works and the other problems that could come from not being fixed CORRECTLY I ended up with a ruptured disc in my neck from the strain and stress on my jaw. After having a CERVICAL FIVE TO SEVEN  ANTERIOR CERVICAL DISCECTOMY AND FUSION last year, I knew my jaw was still not right and had to find someone to help me. Luckily I found a different specialist who has helped me and in 3 weeks. I'm finally on the road to recovery. I honestly feel he should not be in practice and I'm surprised he hasn't had several law suits against him. I have suffered for over 12 years with headache/migraines a jaw that hurt so bad I couldn't. eat, ear pain and a bite that was not corrected but made worse. I'm only writing this now to help others. Listen to your body and if something doesn't feel right it's probably not! You can not force your jaw into a position if it's not meant to be in that position. It will only make your entire body out of line and things will being to break down. There are other TMJ specialists that can help and I would advise anyone reading this to go somewhere else.

after a major car accident i had my tmj was significantly worse. but after i stepped into this office everything changed. everyone was so helpful to me and they all know what they are talking about. i couldn't be happier with my results it's like a dream come true!

He knows his stuff but wow the office staff he has is really rude and inconsiderate. When I say office I mean the people that answer the phone and schedule appointments, not the medical staff that he has assisting in the patient rooms.

I am so grateful for the excellent treatment I have received from Dr. Jack Walz. My jaw was dislocating often, my bite felt off at times and I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Walz is very thorough, very exact in his assessment, very detailed in his treatment and instructions. He has a warm personality that is coupled with a high level of professionalism and is competent as a TMJ specialist. I am thankful for the help he has given me through his treatment. My jaw no longer dislocates, my neck and shoulder pain is gone and my sleep is peaceful. It has been a great blessing to be under his care. I would recommend him highly. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you Dr. Walz.

My headaches and jaw pain had been horrible for several months, especially after i bit into a burger from red robins and could barely open my jaw. I finally saw my regular dentist and was referred to Dr. Walz. That was 4 months ago and my jaw pain and headaches have subsided tremendously. Im able to open my jaw almost as well as i could before, wearing the appliances mostly at night. I would recommend Dr. Walz for anyone that is having jaw pain and headaches.

I was struggling for a long time trying to find out what was wrong with me, I searched online and consulted with many docs. My dentist finally referred me to see Dr. Walz and he has helped me so much with my jaw pain and headaches! I was soooo miserable missing a ton of work and now I feel so much better!! I would recommend him to anyone who is struggling with finding out why they have headaches and jaw problems, he's the best!

He did nothing for my tmj, I got worse under his treatment actually. I told him I thought my jaw was dislocated, he told me not to worry about my bite and to just keep wearing my appliance. I sought out another specialist after that since I had been in chronic pain for 6 weeks who did an X-ray in the office showing it was indeed dislocated and she switched up treatment right away. He never did adjustments to my splint which is an important part in order to progress to a more stable bite. I didn't like how him and his nurse would go in a room and discuss me either. When ever he would do an exam if you want to call it that, he would speak in medical terms to his nurse so you never had any idea what was being said. I would not recommend him to anyone. I just seemed like a number to him not someone he genuinely cared about helping to get better.

This doctor did nothing for my child`s TMJ. We wasted a lot of money & time w/this doctor. Very disappointed.
