Dr. Sauk was recommended to me by a friend, during the holidays, I broke my tooth (crown), went to Dr. Sauk and was well taken care of. Today I went for my teeth cleaning w/x-rays, and actually had a great time. Everyone was really friendly, knowledgeable, so am very pleased. I now have an incredible dentist for the rest of my life. Total Nightmare - don't use this guy! I went for a cleaning - he tells me I would possibly need a root canal and 3 fillings. I was scheduled for major surgery in three weeks and told him that serveral times. I asked him if we could get all of the work done in one visit, he said "Yes, no problem unless you need the root canal, then it will be two visits. He only does 1 cavity, then tells me I will have to come back!! When I ask about the other cavities, he says, "Wait a minute and let me get your chart"! What are you doing drilling in my mouth without my chart?! The worst of it was I almost didn't get my surgery because at 4 pm the night before surgery, I was getting my crown in. My MIL who recomended him also had to come home on her vacation to have a temp put back in that fell out and my son couldn't eat for 3 days because he chewed off part of his tounge. He said that happens sometimes, but hey, maybe he should have told me to watch him if that was a possibility.
